Don't worry. This is a very rare occurance for a ride without a way to evacuate in a breakdown to break down. Last time when a ride broke down at Knott's Berry Farm with no way to evacuate them without the fire dept., or any lifts was all the way in 2016, which was 8 years ago. This is a very rare occurance so don't make this the reason why you wouldn't ride a thrill ride. Amusement rides are a lot safer than cars and you are most likely to die in a car crash, than at an amusement ride. It does suck for everyone in the ride and I hope that everyone was okay, but please don't make this an excuse to not ride thrilling rides as the average person probably won't get into a breakdown on a ride like this. Even if you do get into a breakdown, which I have a couple of times, it usually gets back up within 5 minutes, & if you have to evacuate, usually, there are ways to evacuate without any special equipment.

I used to be with my little sister and his boyfriend and my mom and I used to we get stuck in Disneyland in Anaheim in some rides and we go both in 2 and 2 rides ind on both 4 family sharing the rides and things can get stuck sometimes

Nobody was injured because of the ride's safety features. These rides are SAFE! Major injuries are super rare. You have more of a chance of getting struck by lightning twice. Also, the drive to the park is far more dangerous than the rides.

Knott's berry farm sucks anyways you have to wait for the fire department really you know how long you take you think the amusement parks would be ready for situations like that like come on how did it get stuck in midair how stupid just loosen the belts and have everybody drop instead of waiting for hours use our brains

Actually there have been cases where things like this happen! (It is scary when even on a nonpolitical issue, laywomen know more about this happening before than the "talking heads." It is kind of a drag that in these trying times, even attempts to escape reality turn out like this!

What they should've done was not let themselves get bought out by Cedar Fair. They tore out the original farm stand, the boysenberry bushes, everything that made Knott's unique. I worked there 2003-2006, and they treat their employees like crap. Once I was injured by a guest, and reported it to BPPD, and nothing happened. I tried to follow up on the case, and couldn't get ahold of the detective. Knott's must've paid them off. The people who attacked me for telling them the park was closed and the train had gone back to the roundhouse admitted that they came in to start trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if there was something more to it.

In 2012, WindSeeker, the ride that used to be on that footprint, had a similar thing happen. Its brake system malfunctioned and left riders stranded dangling in the air for several hours at a height of 300 feet due to a frozen brake.
