I love the cd box sets that have the mini-lp covers. I honestly had no idea that James had so many releases. I only knew Laid, so I guess I should give a listen deeper into the discography. Great haul for a smart price as always…oooh and there is the Lightning Seeds again?! Love Blur, too. Impressive pile, my friend!

My best charity store cd find, a mint looking copy of ABBA - The Visitors for 50p, It was a first pressing that I resold for £100 and that was acceptance of an eBay ‘best offer’ too as I need some funds asap.

It's becoming more about the music this is good and not so vinyl elitist. You are right to pick up bargains now it's probable tapes and CDs will rise in value, my tape deck isn't worth fixing so I'll have to invest in a new one at some point though I never had many anyway. I have a minidisc and the pre-recorded ones are astronomically priced as they are rare and never took off. Just awaiting it back from the repair shop. I've a CD multi disc player I got off of eBay cheap so it'll do me. Nice to have the different formats in full effect 😊

There seems to be an interest in cd's over vinyl at the moment cause of several reasons, it's good that your getting set up on multiple formats, that will be convenient for you

I'm going to guess that the albums that are a pound each are the better albums? nice Petty , Ac/dc , Gordon Lightfoot , Beatles, Carpenters , Shania Twain , Aerosmith , Michael Jackson , Bangles let me guess Powerage is 1978 and High Voltage is 1976? is that right ? what does DVX mean? I have Highway to hell on cd! your 1,000% correct you don't see the Beatles in Goodwills I guess= to your charity shops , same with that Rocky Story , who do you like better Michael Bolton or the Carpenters? How many years between albums that went by for the Bangles? interesting soundtracks !!! do you have the soundtrack to the film 1969? Guardians of the galaxy, pretty in pink, the wedding singer?
