Thanks for the clear explanation I liked your reasononing for damage absorber vs mitigation from death so that makes sense. Also will rethink using time rift instead of venators knife since it really seems to be melting them already and I could use that to interrupt instead

Just started my fourth and final character, Trickster. Beginning to realize that I might have saved the best to last with Twisted Rounds and Cyclone sword thingy. Will definitely be using your build when i get later in to my game.

Iv been looking for a way to use the Ugake Otarah set with twisted rounds, hunt the prey and venators knife to maximize DPS potential via FP and it looks like the key ingredients iv been missing were some of the mods you showed me to maximize uptime of twisted rounds. I’m gonna try that next. Great trickster video!

gotta say what i didnt expect with the "long range" mod and what was a welcome surprise, it WIDENS the area as well. not visibly, but enemies standing next to the wave will get flung up as well which is really good

Aaaah, finally my territory. I use the Venator knife because it grants more single target damage, but time rift is definitely better for crowd control. Golem's Limb with the fortress and bone shrapnel works good as far as pump action shotguns go, but Deathshield is the best thing you can have for this build.

Give a try with borrowed time and 3 chronosuit (mask, lower , gloves), spam shield active/deactive every 6 sec for max shield , ammo back (added with instant reload and ammo bargain), aggressive teleportation (kill trash mob around). Dark sacrifice and rejuvenation (as the only pseudo defense mod).

I have messed around with things outside of an automatic shotgun and auto shotties are just better. Their damage output is stronger, and the leech is more reliable. Pumps are too slow to keep leech up, rifles and LMGs just can't produce the damage output you need to have. Another thing I would add, I run the Chronosuit set and use the lightning blast for AOE. For that build, dark sacrifice on death shield is great because every 5-6 seconds you can gain shield back just from spamming borrowed time.

Thoughts on captain hunter vs stare? If you oneshot trash anyways isn't it better to get the 25% vs elites, or does stare give you more damage assuming you htp behind elites with trash around it?

Overall I think Stare works out better due to the fact that there are very few instances where bosses come out completely alone.

Would you consider time crack over Geiger's Wave for time rift? Does not make too much a differences isnt it? Also i notice some times time rift does not have effect of enemies hit by timerift does not consume ammo. Many times i hit enemies but ammo still drops down. Last, timerift seems not so effective on flying birds. They are too OP. My first build for trickster starts with knife and then i switch to timerift and also Borrowed time build. Now i run knife again but i keep the gears of timerift, Borrrowed time and knife build. All these 3 had their charms. Great video btw sir.

I have experimented with “And Another One” instead of “Ammo Bargain”. It just doesn’t seem to work. In theory it should be more effective with enemies suspended for so long but it doesn’t. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or the mod is just broken.

That deathshield makes my mouth water. Mine is only 86 I couldn't imagine how much more dps I could do with an extra 10k. I think I'm going to do this on my other baby trickster, but I might try and get the ugatak 3pcs to try endless hunt the prey.

Sorry I’m a noob. I don’t have any of those weapons. Should I dismantle all my blue and green gear? I don’t get how lower gear is higher damage output and same with armor better stats. 🤷‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

Great video, looks exactly like my build, just curious, I use a little bit of pain mod on my britches and it deals out absolutely ridiculous amounts of damage I mean it winds up being the second highest damage in my runs to twisted rounds, just curious why you don’t use it? No sarcasm or judgement, love the channel, your content is great and to the point, full support and much love!

Little Bit of Pain scales with AP, so on a FP build it's not nearly as powerful as on a AP build. I have AP Trickster and Debuff Trickster for that :) Appreciate the comment.

@@theFullMeasure funny, I realized after I asked and was tweaking some things that that was going to be the answer, lol. I’ve been running my build with fire power and anomaly power being very close in terms of overall power, but I’m realizing how unnecessarily high my ap is for the type of build I’m running, which is really exciting, cause it’s opening a door for so many replacements that are really complementing my build in such a more powerful way, in terms of synergy! Thank you for the prompt response, and for the content that’s helping me tweak my build to new heights, again it’s great stuff!

@@theFullMeasure hey dude, quick question: what do you think is the best way to farm titanium, I’m fairly new to this game, right now I’m on level 44, gear wise, and I’ve been waiting to do another level higher in expeditions because I like to stack my resources to ensure I can carry all my gear up to the next level. I’ve been just doing the both the hunts back to back selling everything non epic and breaking down all epic, is there a better way to do this that will also allow me to farm for tier 3 gear mods? Should I be going about this a different way? Sorry for the length here, I know I said quick question, I’m just really in need of solid advice, appreciate it!

Hey I keep finding the gloves but they don’t have the Bonus firepower, close range damage, and cool down reduction. Is that just a different type i need to keep looking for

Yes, those substats can be random on green, blue and purple pieces. So you can keep farming until you get the setup you want.

Do you have to have the weapon out in order to get the bonus from the fortress Mod? Meaning will it work having it moded on your side arm if you have an AR out?

Only the active(out) weapons mods are used.

only difference for me is dropping the 20% cd red on HTP, i favor the 10% hp node to balance dark sacrifice lol

Dark Sacrifice drains your health on a percentage basis, so more health doesn't really help since the drain percentage just scales. Your still basically in 2 shot range :)

Health scales higher once you start leveling past 30 in terms of item/gear level.

Nah, for me personally I kept running out of shots in solo before using Ammo Bargain. It's possible you could train yourself over time to manage with just the 15 per mag, but with both those you lower the skill ceiling considerably.

@@theFullMeasure Yea understand completely i have a build like that but i focus so much on my rounds. ads go down like nothing but for a captain i had to teleport before twisted rounds ended. But i mostly play coop so i leave the cap to be finished off by my mates really 😅

If you can train muscle memory, using a melee attack to cancel a reload, followed by a HtP (and usually a second melee), you will not lose your TR ever. Granted, it can cause a bit of clunkiness at times, but that is rare. Add the benefit of slowing enemies with the melee attacks and giving yourself another mod slot for damage, and you have a winner. I will try the ammo bargain tonight to see if it plays that much smoother, but I am kind of used to my melee/reload. I stick in Personal Space and swap Geiger for Captain Hunter. Do y'all think Geiger is really more beneficial than CH? Watching Alphas melt with two shots is yum. P.S. You are a boss if you can survive with only one mitigation mod. I use Mit from Death and... (Currently testing a variety of second options... But I lose Double Time). Thanks for the content.

I don't think so, but I get a weirdo jump about every 1 out of 30ish, so it kinda does what it's supposed to. I'm on PC though and as I understand it, it gets a bit wonky on console sometimes.

Trickster is the fuckin man!! Time rift and venators knife are both good but time rift gives more CC so that's the way I would go but I want a route untraveled and get twisted rounds with 2 movement skills. This is nothing new. People have been running this exact build for months. Add embalmers rage and your DMG will multiply by 100.
