It's makes me sad seeing MTV now, compared to how South Korea promotes their artists on TV. There's just too many shows like it and it's wasting the channel's potential. At least the older MTV non music shows were diverse. And Tosh.O has sketches and meets some of the people in the videos.

That’s the thing that I’ve always admired about Tosh’s show over Ridiculousness, his web redemption portion is absolutely brilliant. The one he did with the crazy monster energy drink boycotting lady was so good. But yeah the music industry in the US is an absolute mess. There is no MTV anymore. Looking at their schedules, you have to figure they have almost zero connection to teen viewers now. They are basically just one of those free wifi networks you get with your smart TV at this point. If I'm running MTV, I realize the current gen z is lost to me, and rerun old MTV shows and mix in new seasons of their old reality IP's. I would even fold MTV2 so I'm not competing with myself. Hell, bring back old real world and road rules casts for middle age runs.
