No tip is one of the biggest advantages for Waymo. I did it 4 times a few days ago and no tipping is amazing. You also know what car you are going to get (they are all standardized to the Jaguar I-Pace which is large and spacious), so you don’t need to worry about cramped UberXs or skanky rude drivers. That’s why I love Waymo

I know ALOT of poeple hate self driving cars. I know a lot are terrified of them. However please do not ruin them. People who are disabled in many ways can use these. HELL I’m a shining example, I literally cannot drive EVER due to having no peripheral vision (legally required to drive) the public transport system in suburban us is trash, in fact if I wanted to take a bus to work I would have to go over FOURTEEN miles away then another fourteen east to just get to work. Uber exists but relies on drivers. Stuff like this could theoretically be a life saver assuming it’s cheaper then stuff like Uber or Lyft. Why should I have to tell my boss “oh sorry I can’t get to work bc my assigned driver is sick”?

@@NICCAGE26 I think I phrased it wrong. Having a random Uber driver is iffy. U don’t necessarily know if there a good driver. Self driving cars can be consistent. The point I’m making is if I wanna go anywhere at all rn I literally either have to pay someone, ask my states DD to transport me or ask my family, all of which takes time. A driverless cars could let me be able to do stuff without having to have someone else do it. It’s the same reason I’m getting one of those blind person canes to use at night (cuz I’m night blind cuz my rod cells are dying) I want independence at night!
