I don’t usually have issues getting notified when any subscribed videos come out. But the last 4 of your videos aren’t popping up. I have to constantly search your Channel. There are times when I do get one of your shorts as I’m scrolling but never in my notification area. Not sure if you need to know this so you can have YT recalibrate.

Back in the day if you had 1 million subs youtube would send 1 million emails to your subscribers 😂. Now you can ring the bell so you do get notified....but even when ringing the bell it's not 100% guaranteed you get notified. If you have been searching cute kitten videos all week , youtube will not send you a notification. Because you might not watch my video for a long time. 😁 If my video really sucks and first 100 people don't click the video , watch for 10 seconds or so the video will die at the spot and you will receive nothing as well 😁

Good fair review. I replaced my GSA1250 with a new 1290 SAS, but changed back to a GSA 1250 again. Looks like I prefer chilled out evenings with no shots.

I must be one of the last people to have never heard of Brabus!!! I think I'll learn a lot about them though on your other channel....and I'm looking forward to that. About the GS though. I've been a longtime GoldWing owner, and I think the GS has been a perfect second bike for me, because of that. I still get the comfort and smoothness I'm use to, but now I can go offroad as well!! Most offroad riders think the GS is too big, but it's not the bike that will let someone down, just the skills of the rider. I haven't heard you say it yet, but if you could only have ONE bike.......would it be the GS or the KTM?

Thanks for the video... Once again great job! Regarding Navi: Connect your phone to the BMW (GS or S1000R 😉). BMW Connected App load. Enter destination. Navigation instructions come via the headset and via the TFT. A great solution if you do not have a real navigator with you...

I tried the GS and I could never get.on with it. Its a good road bike, but awful off road. The 850 will run rings around it off road, plus the weight makes it a pain. We did a mountain pass with several big adventure bikes and I've got to be honest, the best thing their was the africa twin. It was flying over rocks and logs that you wouldn't dare try on a GS.

I miss the EU. We just moved to Florida from Germany. I have to wait until my Multistrada, that I couldn't bring into the US, is sold before I buy my GS 1250. My wife says I must sell it first! I am more into comfort at this stage in my life. I still have my Ducati D16RR for more spirited rides. Great video.

GoPro Media Mod adds a 3.5mm mic input, then just run a Lav mic inside and you gets goo quality audio 😁 Nice clean vocals, still hear the bike etc but get a lot less wind noise 😁👌

Isn't dynamic only suspension? I just set the ride mode to ROAD and Enduro :-)

Dynamic" mode allows the BMW R 1200 GS to demonstrate its on-road sporting temperament. Even more spontaneous and direct throttle response, restrained ASC intervention and rigid damping action in case of the Dynamic ESA optional accessory enable the bike's full potential to be exploited.

Agreed, if you didn't ride it in dynamic mode you've probably missed a bit of its character, it's still not KTM aggressive, but the throttle response and pick up is much snappier ...

I'm 176cm with short legs. Traffic is no problem , even at low speeds. A GS is very stable and balanced to ride. With the cilinders very low the bike has a low center point of gravity making it very stable at low speeds 😌

The GS is more of calm and relaxing engine especially meant for elderly people who just want comfort and long rides utilitarian motorcycles, KTM is more of motocross feeling whenever you ride, exciting and having a bloody good time

Calm and relaxing? 125 hp is plenty exciting. The throttle mapping and response is very smooth and it has great torque. It’s not a 1290 but it’s no slouch either.

Dear friend, I get always a lot of laughing with your video spirits. You’re truly a funny biker and often, your videos are like being watching a comedy show. But at the same time you say in the middle some serious opinions and when you recognize that the BMW is a smoother bike than a KTM 1290 super adventure I feel that you’re not joking there. I tend to agree and that’s one of several reasons why motorcyclists choose it as their only bike. In my personal opinion, I had two GS,s and they were really fine…but when I tested the KTM LC8 engine, I immediately switched. I still respect the GS as a great all around bike, with luggage and two people you can travel a lot of distance without any complaints. By another angle The KTM as the bad habit of pop warning big messages , like “GENERAL FAILURE “, or “SUSPENSION “ in red background…it’s nasty! Never had nothing similar to that with both my GS,s…sometimes I feel regrets about letting them go. It was a calm and steady ride all day long😚 But the rush I can feel riding the KTM, simply is not there, And I know it as a matter of fact.🤙🤙

Why do you always drive in Road and not in Dynamic mode? If the mode is not displayed when pressing the mode button, it is not preselected and is therefore not displayed. Read the damn manual ;-) Greetings from Germany

@@TaintedAngel692 GT is not made for 1st gear wheelies , never do that or you will flip it. Keep doing power wheelies 2nd gear. After a stoplight always do small 2nd gear wheelies. And when the wheel goes up , close the throttle shift it up to 3rd gear and back on the throttle smoothly. Keep doing that and it will get better and better. Keep foot on rear brake just in case 😂
