Great video. I live in Bellingham, Washington. Was looking at a Sea Doo Fish Pro and came across this to see what gears I need if I ever get a personal water craft boat.

Oh Bellingham gets some weather

Good advice for gear. I ride as long as the water is flowing and the gear doesn't freeze up, coldest yet is 18F and had to stop when the throttle froze. Riding at 28F could have been done all day except for the wind chill, playing without out any speed was warm enough. The biggest thing to remember is stay close to land or use the buddy system incase there is a break down.

@3ftdeep Thanks man.... With the weather we have had in the Fraser valley this spring I just may go to GVP and grab some cool weather gear. Where has the best prices do you find?

I got most of my stuff through MEC. They've got great stuff for kayaking that works great for Sea-Dooing. Actually, any place that sells kayak gear is good. I don't like MEC's gloves, though. I do like my NRS titanium ones. Good luck!

Yeah they do. I bought a new gtr 230 a week ago. Seems to be a great machine. We're I'm from in Ireland it's normal cold.

I've only heard great things about the GTR 230. Our buddy says it's faster than his RXP-X 260.

Oh man! I just wear a dry suit and adjust my layers during the cold season along with wear a helmet to keep my ears warm and my eyes from watering.

Quite a few people wear dry suits. Any recommendations?
@jetskijay19557 жыл бұрын
3ftDeep I have an O'Neil Dry suit I purchased online still stays dry 3yrs later and makes riding so comfortable. I also recommend looking to the xcel drylock gloves and boots, they are awesome and you can't go wrong with them.

Yeah, full coverage "motorcycle" helmets are said to be hazardous on watercraft, but they are the very best for warmth. Diving style wetsuit hoods don't do it. I've been out for nice rides in the Puget Sound (Salish) even below freezing. I might try one of those tutes. What's your thoughts?
@andor86357 жыл бұрын
Dry suits work real well. They keep you dry when your in the water. Cover everything except feet and hands and head. I used them and vary good.

Some people we ride with where dry suits. They're very happy with them. Very toasty and dry. Thanks for your comment.

I see you have changed seat cover, haven't shot video? Looks perfectly!!!

Yes, thanks for noticing. Unfortunately, I took it to a professional to have it done and he wouldn't let me film him. I think he did a fantastic job.

How can I send you a message directly? If I can't I would like to ask, I've watched almost all your videos thank you for the help. My problem is that the person who owned my jetski before me kept it in the sun and really made all the plastic to be faded.. Its 2014 gti 155, and it's mainly at the console area, i can add photos if you can tell me where too.. Any way I tryed several things from the internet, such as fire torch, and paint thinner, and turtle wax.. I lots actually all didn't do nothing beside the torch with made it more glossy yes, but ruined the plastic texture.. What to do?
@3ftDeepChannel7 жыл бұрын
I can always be reached by email at mario@3ftDeepsports.com. As for your problem with fading plastic, that is a very difficult one. I've also bought lots of products to address the problem, and none of them work for more than a few days. I suggest if it's very bad, buying replacement parts directly from Sea-Doo. Good luck.

Realy enjoy your videos. Very good info on them. By your videos you like seadoo. What do you things do you prefer on seadoo than other brands.
@3ftDeepChannel7 жыл бұрын
I like Sea-Doos because they make some beautiful machines. Yamahas and Kawasakis are excellent machines, too. It's a matter of preference at this point, as they're all very good machines. As for riding gear, you don't need to go with Sea-Doo, as you can find lots of other brands that work sell. We like MEC (www.mec.ca) , as they make kayak gear that works well for us. In fact, any riding gear for kayaking will work very well for personal water craft. Thanks for your comment.

I saw a black seat on your 215? How did you do that and why? Looks great, btw.
@3ftDeepChannel3 жыл бұрын
The seat started coming apart at the seams, so I bought a new cover for it. You can replace the seat covers yourself, but you really need an air compressor and a staple gun that works off it. You also need to use stainless steel staples. Thanks for your comment!

@@3ftDeepChannel excellent! Have you some pictures of this new seat cover installed?
