I wish it had a 3rs pwrson option when riding. My favourite things in opwn worls are riding horses. Rdr2, ghost of t, witcher 3, even forbiden west. Seeing your mount just makes it seem so much better. Shame

Exactly a mode such games need. What's also great for casual horse riding is that mode in Witcher 3 where (IIRC just pressing Shift) it auto follows paths and you can easily look around. And some sort of mouse smoothing when not in fight.

You know what’s wild is this is one time where I’m unsure how I feel about music in the world. This game’s sound design is massively powerful - the music in this instance feels so unnatural compared to the actual sounds of nature. I know I love vgm with all my heart but I think when I eventually do something like this and explore this truly lived in world I may turn the music off!

As someone who did not enjoy the original because of the clunky combat system, do you think the improvements made to the sequel are worth it? Is there a mod that completely overhauls the combat? I really like everything else about the game but the combat just doesn't work for me...

Oh you're right! I think when you compare it to something like The Witcher 3 it's especially noticeable, everything rustled and swayed in that game. It's weird how trees look like they're frozen in time in this. Wonder if it's a game setting or something that's not enabled here
