The bags are cheap ebay/amazon bags and I used the "L" shaped brackets they came with.

What are your thoughts on using the mean streak as a daily commuter? looking to upgrade bikes soon and one popped up on marketplace. Tempted to go take a look. Cheers mate, loved the video!

I don't mainly because the aftermarket exhaust is very loud and I leave pretty early in the morning. One of the main things I like about it is the weight as it isn't much more than my Shadow. As long as mileage isn't a big concern (35 mpg/14-15 per liter) it will fit the bill.

What exhaust is this? Full system? Slipon?

From what I am told it is the Khrome Werks 2 into 1 3" exhaust, side exit. It was installed by a previous owner.

which one is more reliable and economical? shadow 750 or mean streak?

Stock the Shadow 750 gets 50-55 mpg whereas the Mean Streak 1600 gets closer to 35. Being Japanese both should last with basic maintenance. The Shadow is 100lbs lighter and feels more nimble. Hope that helps.

$4k. Air intake, exhaust, power commander 6, upgraded clutch, and dyno tuned. All work was done before I got it. All I've done is comfort mods to make it fit me better.
