It's only been a few days since my last ride at Government Canyon State Natural Area. But after having a blast on some of the Green Trails I couldn't wait to come out and explore the intermediate black diamond mountain biking trails.
with the scorching summer heat, I only had time today to ride one trail. so I picked Carolines loop. This trail gets less attention compared to Sendero Balcones and Wildcat Canyon. So, I decided to start there and see what this trail is all about.
This trail was challenging on both the uphill and downhill. Uphill, I was challenged by steep, punchy ascents and I was often trying to avoid pedal strikes. Downhill was a blast. But, I had to choose my lines wisely and avoiding overturning loose rocks.
Overall, this ride was an absolute blast and I can't wait to come out here and ride again.
Feel free to stick around for the next adventure by subscribing. As always, thanks for watching, stay stoked, and I'll see you in the next one!
