Thanks for the videos, these are the perfect kinds for deciding what scooter to buy (and just oddly relaxing). Out of curiosity how many total km have you put into the scooter now, and how much maintenance have you had to do?

Thanks. I have put 3300km on it. This is my second year of ownership. I do use it solely to commute to work. Maintenance-wise I check tire pressure and bolts weekly, I had a flat tire after 2000km (forgot to check tire pressure). Also, I waterproofed the heck out of the scooter and fashioned a better mud guard. ( original mid guard is useless). So I’d say that, going in, you need to know that this scooter is quite maintenance heavy but it’s not that hard if you have the tools. I did some other optional mods to it like, led turn signal light bulb colour swap, stem bolt swap, and brake rotor swap. Hope this helps.

@@thiethie2-pc5gr Thanks for all the info! I am waiting on them to ship the scooter out and this is a great help. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do to waterproof? I plan on using my scooter mainly to get me to and from work which is only about a mile from my house, and if possible I would rather be able to use it in moderate rain for that mile instead of walking if possible.

@@jordgoin A few things. 1. I opened up the deck and applied some dielectric grease on all the wire connection points (optional but I like to be thorough) 2. closed up the deck and sealed it with transparent caulking 3. sealed the front opening as well as the back opening where the motor cables go through the deck with caulking 4. applied some dielectric grease at the motor bearings (where the axle meet the motor casing) and where the motor cables go into the motor casing as well. 5. sprayed just a little bit of white lithium grease inside the throttles 6. as mentioned, fashioned a more robust mudguard at the back. 7. bonus: apply white lithium grease spray on the stem bolt and stick a piece of duck tape to cover the stem bolt opening to prevent water and mud from splashing on it
