Indonesia in heaven for motorcylist. Weather only have rain and not rain. Mostly warm sunny, never have winter. Cheap fuel, cheap food, cheap acomodation. Good quality of coffee and cigarettes. Low criminal rate. Its just very good place for solo traveling.

Definitely an epic off road adventure. My pucker quotient got pretty high a couple of times. 1 when doing on coming traffic. (flashbacks to my many years in Thailand) 2. Riding thru the jungle without a road. Epic my friend.

Yeah, Thailand's bad about that as well. There are only a couple of highways in Flores, and all the trucks are on em. Had a blast!

@dirtymotorcyclevagabond11 күн бұрын
Thanks man. Buying gas in Indonesia is an experience 🤣 a lotta times the “gas station” is a guy with a bunch of liter bottles full of green fuel. The 150 was so easy on gas, I never even came close to running out.

Super awesome brother. You’re certainly getting around. Philippines or Indonesia?
@dirtymotorcyclevagabond11 күн бұрын
Aww, man. That's a toughy. They're both really cool places to visit. Indo is totally awesome- the people are friendly and the food is great- the only issue is that you're often sharing it with hordes of tourists. I love the people in the Philippines, they're super polite. I enjoy the food there as well, but you can see a lot of people struggling there which is hard to watch. Given the choice between the two, I'd flip a coin 😂

Google maps is not really reliable in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. They often marked literal beaten path as "road" on their map. It's still pretty reliable for main road/highways though.
