My heart is just happy. I'm stoked on Polaris's 22' drop, I'm stoked on Polaris taking care of these guys like Sahen, Adams, Caleb and Turcotte - plus a BUTT LOAD more of other rippers, I'm stoked for Roscoe on his Lynx partnership.....it's just rad to see good dudes being taken care of by these companies and doing what they love to do. Such a sick sport this is.

Yeah the sled makers have competition now because they aren't all building sleds the same way for 20 years!!!! Now they have so much competition, technology throws the sled prices are through the roof! it's hard to know who has the best sled, so this is great because I was looking at the Linx and now the Polaris is looking good!!!!

This all started with the Pro Ride chassis. The IQ was kinda a small step, then they started getting them out of the snow and stopped the hoods from falling apart during a roll. Much more structural engineering instead of just adding bulk (weight) and newer techniques (glue was lighter than fasteners) were all things the pro really made mainstream. As much as guys want a tripple, the torque from the bigger bore 2 cylinder has been key to getting up out of the snow as soon as the belt grabbed, not needing to be spinning fast to make power. The majority of the changes is just them finally pulling their heads out and listening to their sponsored riders who chop their own sleds up. When a guy is willing to take a sawz-all to a brand new $15k sled you'd think they would have caught on to shorten the tunnel and change the cooler 5+ years ago. Same with a turbo. Guys are buying up $6-8k aftermarket setups (and they still will to ride 15 lbs of boost) but a factory setup for only $4k to gain power up to 10000 feet is awesome. I park at 6k, but only a few places are a touch over 10k, so it would fill in the gaps for me nicely without the headache of a mod sled.
@leftyeh64953 жыл бұрын
@@vincelombardi2669 they have some patents for that. We'll see if they actually do it, or if they decide to go direct injection first. Direct Injection is the only reason the ski-doo has SHOT, and then it was really developed for Evinrude which BRP acquired

I am glad factories are able to bring this stuff to the market, but all this craziness like it is the first loaf of sliced bread is ridiculous. These pros have been on high end high powered sleds forever. I believe most dedicated mountain riders have a platform they prefer, and this is simply evolution. We all benefit from the the factory greed clamoring for our dollars. I am a happy 2020.5 ski-doo turbo owner. Nice job of editing. Stuck, rolled over, broken ski-doos whilst flawlessly effortlessly navigating the Poo. Remind me who owns 509🤔🤫🙄
