Don’t know if this is the right place to do this, but I’d love to see a Problematic Roller Coasters video on White Canyon at Yomiuriland. It was shut down in 2013 and was a collab between RCCA and Togo (Yes, this actually happened). The ride’s trains infamously had to be beefed up with padding to protect riders and is arguably the roughest coaster ever made. What’s even crazier is that the coaster that replaced it, Twist Coaster Robin, lasted for, if I remember correctly, a single day.

Very cool you made it out to my home park again! And I miss Thunder Road, too. Many, many memories on that ride and the flat ride you showed that got removed (the one with the ship). I actually rode that to sike myself into getting on a coaster with inversions for the first time (carolina cyclone). To this day, I have a hard time calling "After Burn" anything other than "Top Gun" because of how many times I rode it when it was called that.

Paramount does that to you :D I've been used to calling Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland Flight Deck since I didn't go to the park during the Paramount years, I went in 2009 for the first time, so a few years after Cedar Fair took over.

Carowinds is my home park as well. And yes, I still say Top Gun more than After Burn. It is actually my favorite coaster in the park, with Copperhead Strike being a close 2nd. I also still miss Thunder Road.

I got to go to both Carowinds and Kings Dominion about a month ago and I loved them. Unfortunately a lot of the rides were closed, like i305...and vortex, but I still really enjoyed it. I'd love to see you both when I go to any of the cedar fair parks especially CP

Last year at my home park, cga, there was a day where they were so under staffed that they had ride attendants moving between rides. They would operate one ride for a bit then move to another then go back to the other, or to which ever had more demand at the moment. I started to follow the ride ops around so that way I could ride the rides😂

I went on Saturday, started off with almost nothing open, but by the end of the day they had almost everything open with maintenance being the only reason a few still weren’t. The park still has potential but with it sitting in limbo and leaning towards demise, it’s unlikely it will get better or even be given a chance to thrive.

I was here this past weekend and Flying Cobras was only open Saturday. One of the seats in the front row was blocked off. It closed later in the day and maintenance was examining it. Then it was closed all Sunday, not sure what’s going on with that ride, but it might not be staffing

I just wanted to say I got my new Vessi shoes in the mail the other day and they are SO comfortable! Also they look pretty awesome 😎 I meant to just buy them to walk around my local amusement park this summer (Worlds of Fun) but they're so comfy that I wear them all the time. I want to buy those shoes as long as they work with my insoles and osteoarthritis. As long as that checks out I'd be willing to spend the $ on that. At least it didn't rain when I was there and I crossed the state line most often on my 97 rides on Fury 325 with my feet not touching anything. Fury 325 the best coaster I've ridden so far except Steel Vengeance, and it's also the only coaster in my at least top 15 I prefer riding in the front instead of the back. I also crossed the state line once and back on Carolina Goldrusher and once and back on Nighthawk. (I only liked the vertical loops on Nighthawk as I only rode it once in the back. I dunno: maybe it's more of a car 4 kinda ride.) but I prefer Intimidator (which I rode 19 times, usually in the back car,) Afterburn in the back left (I found the right side in every car delivers head banging) which slaps! I like Copperhead Strike best in row 5 or 6 (third car), followed by the back car, (after the initial roll which I hate). Staffing and ops were best on Fury 325, which is 2:47 from dispatch to full circuit stop, featuring the tallest lift hill, the fastest chain lift and the biggest drop on a coaster of 320' featuring a full layout after its drop. It's EBR isn't even that high off the ground like Leviathan or Orion either. The bottom of the spine is only about 13' above before the lift hill. It only takes 28 steps (just under two storeys) to ascend the stairs to board Fury 325 and just as many to descend. Heck it's a bigger climb boarding Afterburn than Fury 325! The question remains: can it operate 3 trains without stacking? That's a video I'd love to see you do; I know Nitro and Behemoth can operate at maximum efficiency, so how does Fury ad up? I was shocked and bedraggled meeting Brandon and you at Copperhead Strike! I ended up getting a fast pass the day you were there (I think was Wednesday April 12th) as well as Thursday, but I didn't need it my 1st day on Tuesday April 11th or Friday April 14th since it called for rain, so I slept until 10:30am to awaken and I got 4 more hours of my stuff in a locker from 11:41 until 3:41 that day when it started to rain again before flying home again to Surrey British Columbia Canada. Samuel (the Fury 325 ride op) was nice enough to ensure I had a front left ride as my last before I had to be at that locker too! l hope to use my 2023 platinum pass for my 1st visit to visit King's Island late August.
