Great video Sandy, in Wales it’s liquid Sun 🌞 in the valley where we live they say if you can see the top of the Mountain it’s about to rain if you can’t see the top it’s raining ☔️🤣

I wish I'd known about the Bugout campsite last September when I cycled up through Builth on my way to Anglesey. It's not too far from home though so will check it out. A lump in my throat and tear in my eye with memories of clinging on the back of the old Katana down the Devil's Staircase, thank you to you and Dickie for the 'spin' and I didn't even get wet!!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

What a wonderful film Sandy, the shots of the stars followed by the birdsong in the morning was truly beautiful. Thankyou. A camping novice, last minute, I loaded up the Himalayan last weekend and headed down to your neck o the woods, pitched my tent (at a pub) and went for a ride around Salisbury plain. Watching your films have inspired me to give this a go, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Got a feeling i may well be heading to this place for a night or two.

Next time you go back there carry on where you turned around at the top of T.D.S. The road follows around the edge of the Llyn Brianne Dam and Reservoir. There are more superb views to be had and I think you'll get some more excellent photo's. I came from the Llandovery direction at the end of March heading down T.D.S. and loved it. Your photos were excellent and I thought the one of Motul Man on his Enfield was worthy of a magazine cover.👍

I rode my Triumph Street Scrambler from Bristol to Llandovery via Gospel Pass, Devil's Staircase, the Abergwesyn Mountain Road, and Llyn Brianne (then home along the A40), a few days ago. A great 220-mile day out on nadgery, bumpy, but scenic and almost empty roads... and only a few spots of rain. That white van was in the same spot near the Irish bridge over the Afon Irfon.

Hi Chris, the stove I used was a Clik stand with a home made burner made from a branston pickle lid:) Just wind some fire rope into the lid and fill it with meths. Really simple. The Clik stand has to be imported but there is an alternative called the Trangia triangle that you can buy over here in the UK. Hope that helps
