I have found out about the Sherco X-Ride, it seems pretty sweet. I bet it is killer in the slower technical stuff, even better than a KTM Freeride would be, because it has a trials bike engine. Those engines are torquey and smooth like no other. But I think it would be limited by range and certainly by price.

That would be the Sherco X-Ride 290. Seems to be the next move as I have grown tired of waiting on KTM to bring the Freeride to the USA. Given Sherco's extensive trials experience, it is probably the better bike (for technical stuff) anyway.
