Well done Kate. Surprise your instructor never started by telling everyone to keep safe distant while off-roading. 1st rule is never follow other riders or stopping your heavy bike too close to each other.

@@UsernameKate plenty of pros from what I have seen so far. When you dropped the bike the second time even knocking over another bike I thought well this is over. You proved me wrong and kept going so I found myself saying hell yes! Get it girl! You honestly listen to instruction and give it as much as you can to implement what you learn. Much humility there and that's a good thing, a very good thing. And you push through fear, that rocks.

Loved your gaining confidence in such atrocious conditions. Wicked viewing reminded me of completing in trials completion's riding a Triumph cub aged 16, brilliant times, now 71 but riding on tarmac, biking gives you a zest for life. Well done Kate!

I used to ride dirtbikes when I was in high school and remember how tired I was at the end of the day - I imagine it can't be any easier on something that's 3x as heavy haha. Awesome job! Looks like it was a hell of a fun day, drops and all.

Could barely watch this - in that very place, and in similar mud in 2019, I fell off a GS (whilst training): multiple rib fractures, 6 months to get over it and developed a deep vein thrombosis of the shoulder along the way - for which I'm still being treated. Oh well, at 65 it's led me to cross learning to hang glide off the bucket list ha ha. You did brilliant!

Brilliant! I get your frustrations though, it’s not easy and in particular in those conditions. We went to Sweet Lamb Biking last week and no where as bad as those conditions and I was on a smaller bike. Never done it before and I screamed like you but bloody loved it. Great skills to handle the bike 👍🏻

Nooo, I worked it out. I like the familiarity of a big road bike and I like the planted feel of them. I mean... a lighter bike is probably the right step for most... I'm just a freak of nature and it works backwards for me haha. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the kind words

This was an excellent vid Kate, this is why they say 'light is right' for off road riding you did a great job those on those behemoths! I would try some trials riding for slow speed and clutch control as is really is a great base, it helped me when I started off roading👍

Fab vid! I just wish motorcycle manufacturers would make more lower bikes for us shorter folk. There is no way I would’ve gone to do what you did, even if they’d of said they’d give me a brand new bike after it, the fear of not touching the floor would’ve been too much. Much respect to you Kate, for showing your experience on the new Triumph tiger a big bike off road , especially if you have never done off road before.It’s quite remarkable you tried it and persevered with it and could see progress towards the end. I ts also good PR for Triumph, showing even non experienced riders vertically challenged still could manage the coarse.You did yourself proud , and was a great insight into going on a off road coarse.My first off road experience was on a 650 triumph scrambler bike , I’m 6: 2 ,was falling off also and very tense.You did well ❤️🏍🇸🇪🙏

Well done, Kate. You were, definitely, much better by the end of the day. A big challenge for you being so petite and a big bike in the wet ( very wet ) I did an off road course weekend at Sweetlamb a couple of years ago. They told us to use our new skills or lose them. They were right. I haven't done any off road since and my confidence has, definitely, waned. Get out there on another off road course ASAP and, maybe get yourself a dirt bike so you can get a bit of practice with your boyfriend. I wish I'd kept up the dirt bike practice. Now. I'll have to do another course.

Really wet nightmare, but I think you did excellent on a bike that isn’t fitted for you. You should not worry about the bike. Drops and falls are expected in these conditions. It’s amazing to see you push yourself and also those other riders did so to. Maybe one day I’ll try this myself, kinda go back to my younger days of riding in the woods on moped. Be safe like that and have fun 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing your experience.

Looked like another good day, may see horrible with it raining but it makes riding bikes like that more fun :) Commentators curse has been replaced by Kates curse "such a boss look at her" then she drops it lol with all these training days you will be showing mike how to ride soon ;) love you playing dominos with the bikes .. drop yours so might as well take out the one you stop next to but at least they were all supportive. Think Triumph had a few repairs to do on those bikes at the end of the day but at least you all had a good laugh. Oh and good to see a women riding a big bike with room for a mighty big basket.

Don’t worry Kate, our Lord fell 3 times. You did well. Great experience. Not easy to handle a big bike like that in those conditions.

Spot on and well done I have done that course recently it is awesome and terrifying at the same time doing it on big bikes is a challenge on its own. Good on you 👍are you going to the ABR ? 😁
