Yeah, those air tires offer incredible fun! Very cool to roll through a forest or from a grassy hill. 🙂

My Outbacks are coming tomorrow and I am PUMPED. I have similar rollerskis with 6" inflatable tires, but they have about zero ground clearance and carving ability (step turns only).
@TheRollingRaptor7 ай бұрын
Awesome! Yeah, you'll find the Outback to be surprisingly agile. The middle wheel acts as a pivot point, so you can do pretty tight turns. The front-back stability is impressive and there's nothing to stop those big tyres. Have fun!

@@TheRollingRaptor not super impressed with the tires, a bit out of round. I might use Jenex tires. (check them out if you ever need to change)
@TheRollingRaptor7 ай бұрын
@@paulblichmann2791 It may help to inflate the tyres a bit harder than advised. I always go to about 7 bar. Way faster and more responsive.

I’m completely obsessed with these skates!! I have a pair coming in just a few days and I haven’t been able to sleep since ordering them because I’m so excited!! Great video to demonstrate what they can do. I’ve got some huge hills at my local state park, (Pere Marquette in Grafton Illinois) so I ordered the heel cuff braking system for both skates so I’ll be able to control speed easier.
@TheRollingRaptor2 жыл бұрын
Oh, cool! I can assure you: you're gonna have an awesome lot of fun. Pere Marquette looks like an awesome place for going off-road, by the way. I haven't tried the heel cuff braking system myself, very curious about how it works in reality. Be careful, but have fun! 👍

Yea I’m hoping for a long run from the top all the way down. I plan on hiking up in shoes though. I got my brakes today. Nice and simple and adjustable so you can adjust how much you need to lean back to apply the brake to the back wheel. I’m hoping they will enable me to stay under control on the steep hills and not get more speed than I can handle. But I love speed, that’s why I got these. The paths have a lot of turns and rough spots so brakes seem crucial out there. My skates are still in Germany but are supposed to be here by Tuesday the 10th, next week. I can hardly wait!! Any more videos on the way of these skates?
@TheRollingRaptor2 жыл бұрын
@@danielsheets6841 Very smart of you to take precautions! And using the T-stop all the way down would probably ruin your tires. I do hope to go off-road skating some more in the next couple of weeks, but for now, I haven't got any off-road footage waiting on the shelf. The video above was my second session with the Outback 150, I don't know whether you've seen my first ride with it (in a hilly city park)? kzbin.info/www/bejne/aaeZaWtqbMutkMk And this was my best session with the two-wheeled Edge 150 frame: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqKuoJ2ZeLx7d8U I'd certainly love to visit that same spot with the Outback 150.

Oh yes, I’ve watched all your SUV frame videos, and they are great. It helped me choose between the edge and the Outback, which I was leaning towards the three wheels anyway since that’s what I’m used to in my road skates. You should definitely skate the park again on the outback’s. And I’d love to see you try out a bike park or pump track, I’m planning on doing so when mine get here.
@TheRollingRaptor2 жыл бұрын
@@danielsheets6841 Wow, glad to hear that. Thanks for watching my videos! 🙏 There is a bike park nearby I definitely want to check. That’s something I want to do before the summer. So there’s certainly more SUV stuff coming up. 😊

I believe so. I've only been to Delhi and Agra, and the unpaved roads I saw there, looked pretty much skateable to me. But: the most important thing is to have some unpaved downhill roads and paths around. Those are the most fun to roll from with SUV skates. 🙂

@@TheRollingRaptor sir which weels is best 150 mm r 125 mm weels for suv
@TheRollingRaptor2 жыл бұрын
@@mallikattili1215 I haven't skated 125mm yet, but I'd say: 150mm. If you're on bumpier roads, you'll ride smoother and when you're doing jumps or riding from steep slopes, you'll have more stability. The downside is that 150mm wheels are heavier and that the frame is longer. But honestly, I didn't really notice those disadvantages. And on a trip with other people who all had a 3x125 setup, I was the only one who didn't fall. 😀
