Anyone who hasn't rode it. You might blackout a few times. When you go down it pulls you so hard. it doesn't hurt. It's really fun. If you're afraid of it, it actually isn't scary at all. No hands kinda hurts if your like 9 or 10. Or small No problem :D

+cookiemonster321 I live in Edmonton, but to be honest, standing in line is scarier than the actual ride. I'd give it a 1-2 for scariness, but that's just my opinion. The first time I went on it I freaked myself out.. I thought about all the worst possible things. Once you're actually on the ride it's so fun :)

Acenix is right, there is a height requirement for rides like that. And obviously the kids were tall enough to ride it, or the operators wouldn't have allowed them on. It's not bad parenting to allow your children to have fun. And the Mom obviously allowed them on it since their Dad was right there..

I disagree. I worked in an amusement park for several years and have the experience of being the ride operator. Just because the kid is tall enough doesn't mean they can handle it. I have watched kids screaming and climbing their parents not wanting to get on. It was the PARENT that wanted to ride! And they were angry with the child because they had stood in line and now the kid didn't want to ride. We wouldn't allow those children to ride. We would offer to hold them while the parent would ride. Sometimes we would let them push the buttons to start the ride. Then some kids were gung ho! Height restriction is just a guideline. That's a major thrill ride geared toward teenagers and young adults. If my child were this age, regardless of height restriction and regardless of them saying they wanted to go on the ride I would be forced to say not until you a little older. 13. 12 maybe if they are mature enough. But everybody is different in their way of parenting or thinking so there's not a right or wrong way.

Doesn't really give you any right to say it's bad parenting though. The Mother allowed them on because they wanted to go on it (assuming), or they would have waited with the Mother while the others were riding. And it was their first time, of course they won't know if they can handle it until they get on. I've been on certain rides geared for all ages at different ages. Earliest being 3-4, I've had instances where my jaw was near the harness, it only bothered me for a few minutes but it went away. Sometimes, yes parents get frustrated because they waited in line with the kid for so long, it's a normal reaction. Especially during a hot summer day. It's not always just because the parent wanted to ride it.
