Riese & Müller Homage4 - First Impressions

I really like this bike. However I am disappointed that with this update Riese & Muller is not offering the 750 watt single battery option that's available now on many of its other models. That battery, combined with the new Bosch 250 watt "water bottle" supplement as an option, would be perfect for my needs.

For the 750wh and 250wh extra battery Smart System the Delite4 is what you want to look at. Full suspension with similar options.

I do like the Delite4. However I like the Homage overall design better, especially the step-through frame and beautifully crafted downtube. I realize that expecting Riese & Muller to re-engineer that to accommodate one or two 750 watt batteries might be expecting a bit much this year.

Love this bike but eye wateringly expensive 😂 to justify if you spec it up and it’s only you using it. Plus there is the insurance (I would want it after first 2 months), subscription for connect module after the 12m free expires, ongoing annual maintenance etc to factor in.
