Funny, I was just thinking of something like this! I was more hoping as ready-to-go MIDI for Shreddage, so I could play around with the given notes and articulations to make it original but a great starting point. Maybe one day ;)

This was not on my radar, but now it is! I own shreddage Serpent and Rogue, but think it'd be super useful and efficient to be able to use Riffage for rhythm, and Serpent/Rogue for solos. Agree with comments that if i could make it in Shreddage that would work, but that is still a non-trivial process for me, and sometimes I want to focus more on composing. :D

Biggest thing I would be interested in is dive bombs and various DI pitch articulations that you cant do well or convincingly in shreddage. Nobody seems to be recording those in DI. If I can just do most of the riffage samples in shreddage I’m not really interested. From what you’ve shown it feels like riffage is just a supplement to someone not very proficient in shreddage. I want a library that hugely expands on the “noises” articulation of shreddage.

I would absolutely love a library like you had described. Having access to stuff like divebombs, feedback, and other sound would be quite helpful. I'd like to not have to reach to an old library of loops and samples lying around for these effects.

I mean, it would work well with devil may cry’s style of music since it’s litterally all just loops but still curious as to why not just make a midi pack for shreddage or something

We might do MIDI packs for Shreddage as well, however even that is not necessarily as easy to use as something like Riffage. Users may have their own configuration for the Shreddage patch that alters the tone or fretting, and (except for Fretless) Shreddage guitars are not recorded amped. Of course, Shreddage instruments are more flexible - this just comes at a higher cost (literally, and in terms of needing to write notes, select articulations, etc.)

Shreddage is nice if you want full control but this one is more of an instant gratification tool and can sound more convincing since you're hearing real repetitions. Things like 16th mutes sound so nice with Riffage.

It would be dope to have a sequencer build in for shreddage to make riffs or load some patterns and edit the pattern etc maybe kinda like ample sounds riff engine but a bit more intuitive cos thls is impact soundworks were taking about

Edit: Worked it out. One needs a new trigger note in order to trigger a new pattern. Can't just use one long trigger note all the way through the song. cannot change patterns in the piano roll. Any subsequent midi note does nothing. In other words can only play 1 pattern/riff in the whole of the piano roll any other notes added to trigger alternate patterns do nothing. Tried it in Reaper and FL studio. The new pattern is reflected in the Kontakt window but doesn't play, the first pattern continues to sound even though it shows new pattern selected in Kontakt window.

What about whole notes or ring-outs? Like for the end of a song or section? Is this possible?

There isn't a dedicated key or function for that, but some riffs are slower and longer; that's what we would recommend using.

I don't understand what it means that there are 4 keys. If your song is in the key of A minor or D or E minor or whatever, are you going to end up getting guitar riffs that don't sound right because they're not in the same key and can't be adjusted? Thank you.

better use shreddage with bias and create it yourself ;D but it good to have some sounds what imitate Pick Scratch sound on shreddage 3 for example or on this one library, to imitate the real electric guitar

please explain the four keys the riffs are recorded in. i don't see them on the UI or in the selection lists.

Each riff was recorded in C, D#, F#, and A. This way, any transposition is only 1 semitone away, which produces minimal artifacts.
