I always have my optic on the handle side, opposite the hinge side as the hinge side is where the case sets in the horizontal position. This way any impact from setting down the case is not against the scope but against pistol grip or stock

Yes he has the grid upside down. I'm guessing he didn't read over the instruction manual.

@jkgtss30 thank you. Apparently they are. I took them out of the box that side up and didn't even think to check both sides. Great catch! Correction video coming soon.

The directions definitely don't mention a top and bottom. I'm sure it was implied with common sense, I just got it wrong. Thank you guys for catching it though. I'll fix it in one of the next videos.

Haha not upside down like bottom on top. Upside down like the side you have exposed is supposed to be on the bottom. We are saying to flip the grids not to rotate them. Good luck mate.

I know, I'm just being a wiseguy. I have since flipped the panels. A day after the video published someone pointed it out. You cant just go back in and add the edit to the video though, so I will live forever on KZbin with upside down grids lol. I do appreciate the feedback though Skyler.

I assume you're referencing how hard it is to close? I let it settle for a month after the video, and installed it right side up, same difference. It's just not a perfect match to the shape, and might not be meant for large 34mm scopes with knobs on both sides.
