I have the original blackbeard and a separate mantis X and theyre both phenomenal. I definitely wish there was something like the blackbeard for handguns, though using one on a DA/SA handgun is very nice

The Mantis X10 plus the Dry Fire Mag is a pretty sweet set up. All of the benefits of the Mantis X AND the abilty to take follow up shots.

I disagree on one point, I think this should be standard kit, just consider it as ammo cost. Instead of spending $250 on ammo, get the regular Blackbeard and get trained up. I got mine last Christmas and I love it. The flaws TCGF brought up are there, but entirely manageable. I highly recommend it if you’re on the fence. Being able to learn the trigger alone makes it worth the price.

I’ve used the mantisX10 for piston training. It works with live and dry fire. Analyzes and tracts a number of things like holster draw, recoil, grip, pushing, etc… It rates each shot. It works with long guns however apparently not in the same way and the Blackbeard. Thanks.

Is a TG-team coming? 😄 Seriously, I'm saving up for that Mantis X BB. I use laser ammo and dryfiremag on different occasions, depending on what I'm working on. However I don't have the repetitive capability of the Mantis X BB which is essential in dry fire with proper follow-up shots.

I bought one of the first runs of the original Blackbeard. It broke after a few months of usage, but Mantis replaced the entire unit for free, including shipping. 100% agree that this coupled with a pistol laser cartridge is an excellent combo. I haven't noticed the issue of the battery self discharging when not in use, but that might be because I have the "dumb" version without the accelerometer and Bluetooth. Do you have that issue with both batteries?

My Mantis BCG already died after a few months of pretty light use. Their CS is decent, but I’ve been waiting quite a while now on the promised replacement to ship.

My Mantis has a problem where the trigger stops resetting after about 5 shots. And then I gotta eject the "mag" and reinsert it for another 5 shots

However, when I read tweets that say certain things, that seem to push a narrative that I can't find evidence for, makes me wonder where their information is coming from. I think the question is fair, you're the one who is thinking unclear. That's your issue. Also, I don't let media influence me or inspire me on anything. Human behavior however, does make me think certain ways, especially since in certain individuals it's predictable. I had to look up what daily caller was, and most of the sources were using right wing, conse, etc etc language. Which is a good indicator that Google and it's recommended "sources" Have its own bias. You're definitely influenced, and inspired by what you're fed. That's on you. I think it's odd to say hit piece, when one of your own, while being defended for their actions from your radicals, hit up a religious school. It's also not the first time something like this has happened, also interesting it's not talked about as much compared to other incidents. So I find it predictable that you react this way, and society react this way towards your community while behaving another to other communities. One does it, the world stops and blames a certain group using everything as a motive. Another does it, and pronouns are more important. So I ask again, do you feel people are coming for your community? I was told a certain orange guy was gunning for mine, yet I'm still here and still armed to the teeth on my own accord. Tell me again you're not inspired or influenced?

In 2022, the Texas GOP adopted as part of it's platform resolutions that "Homosexuality is an abnormal lifestyle choice...We believe there should be no granting of special legal entitlements or creation of special status for homosexual behavior, regardless of state of origin, and we oppose any criminal or civil penalties against those who oppose homosexuality out of faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values." Question: what, *precisely,* does it mean to 'oppose' homosexuality? What would be within the legal limits that this 'opposition' could potentially take? Would there be any legal limits at all? If the Republican party had it's way, could someone, for example, murder an LGBT+ person, and suffer no criminal or civil penalties as long as they claimed they were motivated by 'faith, conviction, or belief in traditional values'? The resolution doesn't specify; what are the implications of this suspiciously vague wording that conveniently allows for plausible deniability?

Btw the world health organization and the american which is ran by doctors around the world supports trans folks. Also the american psychological association made up of 146k psychologists and is the biggest organization of them in all of the U.S. supports trans folks too
