I admire and respect anybody who does something like this for a living, whether I dig the style or not.

Have you ever seen a LoopingArtist live? I’ve been an Looping Artist since 1998, I guess I was the first guy to bring Looping to Chicago at that time. There’s some pretty good looking artists I could turn you on to, if you’re curious.

Is he still using this small set up? I play music full-time for a living as a looping artist, introduced Looping to Chicago in 1998, and I’ve never seen him play because I’m always booked to play a show. Interestingly enough, I was just offered an opening spot at a 2500 seat venue in Madison Wisconsin this past October 22, but I declined because they said I had to be vaccinated to go on stage.

Keller is someone it would be great to see more updates on. His rigs have had some major changes throughout the years.

Keller is one of the pioneers in the looping field concerning live performance. It ain't a gimmick if you paved the way for all the copycats.

I find it interesting that there are guys like this who can obviously make a living and get people out to see him play when there is supposedly no market for music like this. For anybody complaining that 'he can't play for shit' why aren't you out touring or at least making a living from music if you're so good? The answer is you may have all the technique in the world but you can't write a goddam song to save your lives. Making the All-Bedroom guitar squad is not the same as being a musician.

No pioneer there. Phil Keaggy has been looping since the '70's. The 1970's.

First, when did he claim to be anything other than simply a musician? Second, the way he uses looping and other things in his setup is unique in many ways.
