Awesome rig. I have mine almost ready. Hoping to land a helper job first so I can get my feet wet and learn the ins and outs of the industry before I test with my own rig. Thanks for the videos they definitely keep me motivated!

Man stoked for you that seems to be the hardest part of getting into this is the dang rig. Congrats on getting that done.

So it’s safe to lay down the oxygen bottle flat on the bed.?
@mendoblendo3212 жыл бұрын
You lay your acetylene down flat? It'll take hours to get right after standing it upright to get the acetone and spunge right again
@JacobSchofield2 жыл бұрын
Well Corey you just gave yourself away. My oxygen bottles lay flat, my acetylene bottle is standing straight up by the passenger side back door. Rewatch the video. You will see it. Oxygen can lay flat acytelene cannot.

I love the fact that you mention all the equipment make you the same money weather you paid a dollar or a million that's kinda my attitude on it to I'm in the process of building my truck and every piece on it including the truck is paid for great to see other younger people with that outlook on life keep up the good work

Up in canucker fucker land most of the pipeline guys put one ear plug in to stop sparks from gettin in to your eardrum
@TheRitchieLeeShow7 жыл бұрын
Right on about them sparklers sizzling when they get in your ear. I'm not a real welder, however I figured out quickly to wear ear plugs if working over head. I flat out like ear protection when pounding, grinding, ect.

What do you think about having a truck that is already rigged up and renting it to welders who's truck is broke down. I could rent it by the day, week, or month. I have a business and if one of my wreckers is down, I am scrambling to get it back in service. Thanks for your videos and I look forward to hearing some feedback.

John Pierce I think it would work for sure. There are a few guys out here that do that. They make pretty good money.

I went to a off campus trade school when I was about your age. That's where I would start. Find some program you can get into then go from there. Use that program to get a foot into the door. Once you get your foot in then the real education starts. I went to a community college for welding amd there were some internships and I got into one. Long story short I still work for the same company that I did when I was an intern almost 12 years later 😂. Take it step by step and find a program to get into. Find out if your school has welding or better yet like in my case they have a trade school type program.

Question i start work on tuesday and when i went to test i couldnt get my arm to stop shaking have you ever had that happen cause your nervous and if so how did u calm your self down or maybe you have some advice.
@JacobSchofield7 жыл бұрын
Eric Z71 it's just being nervous man. The more tests you make the easier they will get. Advice? Soon as you get there just go right to work and just focus on what your doing who cares what anyone else thinks you are going to go do your very best and the rest is just what happens. Sounds like you made that test so nice work man!!

You need to sell welding caps on your website. Maybe some white outside with a designed inside and the Schofield welding emblem on the outside. I'd buy them......if they're good quality like a dabec

What year is your sa 200 and how many hours . I know a few guys who love them . I got a classic 300d and usually pipeline big inch 30 inch to 42 . So some jobs we use fluxcore wire which I hate lol . But the 200 were struggling with the fluxcore. I'd like to get my hands on one though . Good video and you sound like a good guy . Come yo to Alberta Canada on the big old oilsands and come tag a big inch joint . Lol lots of coin here too bro . Work safe and keep the positive attitude . Only way to go !!!

abeweldz the ground goes to the tig torch and the stinger goes to your ground so it's reverse polarity
