Been catching up on your Vids for a few weeks now. Couldn’t agree more with what this one was about. Stepping stones for the master plan, positive attitude = a Positive outcome.

Jacob Schofield Yes Sir.. looking to get back into welding bud, currently a high voltage Journeyman electrician. Took it 4 years through High school. Loved it. Pays very well and you don’t have to kill your body in heavy construction like myself currently lol😂

I'm 38, I done a few things.. I've shoveled turkey crap, built houses, served in the military, I could go on. You make your day, your life! If your mad, figure out why, I was pissed for years as my military career was cut short, I am a disabled vet, it sucked I wanted to serve 20-30 and retire. God has a plan, figure out why your unhappy and change it! Money isn't everything, I spent 11 years in a job, the last 5 I was miserable, I prayed and waited for the time, God laid it out I followed and I now have a wonderful Federal job, raising trout at a hatchery. I get to weld, am going to classes on there dime, and life is good. Jacob is speaking pure truth, no matter what you do, nothing is perfect and somedays just suck! Have fun and enjoy and it's all good! Jacob, thanks for the videos, the info and positive push for everyone! God bless, be safe.

Excellent advice, thank you! Sometimes we've gotta remind ourselves of this, I know I do. Sometimes it makes a difference in who you surround yourself with--influences matter.

Positivity is key !! I go out on a job . Be the best tradesman I can be . Weld as best as you can every time and keep learning . Make friends alone the way and hard work pays off . It always has done me good . Good stuff and support from the oil sands in Alberta Canada !!!

I never knew how ungrateful and big of babies some rig welders could be until I got into it myself. The reputation they make for themselves will follow them around for years to come. Three things my rig welder boss told me and they always stuck with me: 1. You’re never too good to work any job 2. Don’t ever burn a bridge at a job 3. You are always replaceable, no matter how good you are at your job, they can replace you and will if need be.

I really thought this one was gonna be about prima donna rig hands that are too good to get dirty. Good info on attitude all the same.

I love this video, I know exactly what you mean. You have to be passionate about what you do, no need to be miserable. If your miserable your just lazy.

hey Jake i got a question for you I currently work as a Corrections Officer in colorado. i want to be an EMT but i want to run my own business. i liked welding in highschool and i had a job as a helper right out of highschool. i would lime to get my own rig and be able to sustain myself doing it. i have a lot of aspirations and im not really sure what to do with it could you give me some advice

Jacob jacoby yeah man you bet. I would first and foremost get enough money together to buy some kind of stick welder either a little Miller tig/stick welder or go all out and spend 4,000 on an sa 200. I wouldn't go spend a ton of money on tools and trucks just yet I would sit at the house and every night go out and practice practice practice!!!! Tig/stick once you know you can pass a test go weld single hand for awhile get your feet wet chasing the shut downs and refineries you can make 100,000 without a truck basically a weldinghood and a lunch box I would start saving your money and slowly put a truck together. This way it dosnt completely wipe you out of money. It gets really expensive to put a truck together. But welding single hand you still make good money and you are getting the experience. Hope this helps man thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.

Great part of being a emt is being able to run a side business or work for some one on the side . That's how a buddy started his welding business on his off shifts as a fire fighter. He picked up some pointers while working in Antarctica

I'm a retired boilermaker and one day my doctor asked me if I liked my job I had to think for a minute but I said yes not dwelling on how hot and dirty and physically demanding it is but how at the end of the day or job we built something or repaired something

Casey Elliott you sir are 100% correct lol. But a fireman is still human and still has the same options be mad or be happy same as anyone else in any industry.
