Rigging Leeches for Early Summer Walleyes

After a long, cold winter I'm finally heading out on the water in pursuit of some early summer walleyes. I received a tip from an employee at a local gas station about a hot walleye bite and he told me that leeches on a Lindy Rig were working well. I am by no means a great walleye fisherman, but I enjoy chasing them and would appreciate any tips to help improve my game.

I use in the early summer a zman big trd in green pumpkin for walleye and a 1 / 15 oz jig head I live in northwest Indiana and walleye fishing 🎣 is tough here but it catches some nice walleye 🐟👍

That’s crazy that you’re not using livebait. How are you presenting that jig to the walleyes? Are you drifting? Casting?

​@@AnglingUploaded casting it and dragging it along the bottom I saw a video from a guy in Minnesota on you tube who always uses the zman big trd baits it's his secret bait it really works I think his channel is Target walleye on you tube give it a try 🐟👍

My favorite are zman hula sticks in molting craw color . I fish northern mn a few mi from Canada and it is a VERY productive combo.
