Thank you..but sir i have one question in my mind that i have completed my MBA (Finance)and i am currently 27yrs old working in corporate and plan to do PhD as i want to be Assistant professor in central/State University. Is it too late to join now or should i go for it? Please suggest 🙏

Thank You! You can go for PhD. In most Central/State Universities age criteria to become Assistant Professor is different than IITs/NITs. In some of the state/central Universities max age limit is upto 40, 45 years is also there for Asst Prof job. But I will suggest please try to complete your PhD within 4 years so that no opportunity should be missed by you. Please find good supervisor so that your PhD will be smooth and within time limit. Preferably do Part-time PhD with Job.

I'm 28 years old skeptical to join PhD, as got know that scientists postion age limit is ≈ 32 for assistant professor 35.Botany subject has very less industry exposure ... I love science but these restrictions and criteria.... keeping me a question for future. Please suggest

But in Private, state, and central universities, you can get Job as assistant professor and also Postdoc from abroad. Every where age criteria is varying. Definitely some opportunities will get lost but ok, many opportunities are there with good salary package. You will definitely get. If science is your passion then go for PhD.

Dekhia, Mai bolunga aap Part-time PhD karane ka pahle sochia, agar karna hai to, job mat chhoria. Lekin agar job bilkul achha nahi hai, aur koi option nahi dikh raha to, PhD join kar lijia, jaha achha stipend milta hai. JRF ko abhi 37000 milega According to Govt rule, 1st 2 years then 42000. Aur ye private universities me vary karega uske policy ke according. To aap soch lijia achha se.

Dekhia, Agar apko thoda sa bhi doubt hai ki apse Govt. Job ka competition nahi nikalega. To please mat kijia. Time barbad ho jayega. Aap PhD me enroll hoke agar time milta hai to kijiye preparation, lekin mai bolunga generally mat kijia, man se PhD kijia. Achha career opportunity age bhi milega. Abhi bhi apka age hai PhD kar sakte hai, aur last me bahut sara University hai jaha pe Assistant Professor ke liye age limit 35-40 years bhi hai. Commerce to bahut achha field hai.

Sir I am 29, working in a private job as a content writer and i completed graduation (BSc) in 2016. Now im confused whether i should do MSc. or not. and since i am good in writing and reading, i have started preparing for upsc cse exam. My age will cross 32 after preparing for IIT jam, joining college in 2025, and completing an MSc. I know that i am interested in science, but the number of years it will take to make a career out of this, and the downsides in terms of family and studies is forcing me to prepare for government exams and choose security in my life over interest. What is your opinion and is it possible to get in touch with you personally to clear some doubts?

From my opinion, you should first make your life settled and then you can pursue your interest. But don't make career gaps. If you are really good enough to clear competition then do it, if any doubt is there then join MSc. Otherwise simultaneously you can prepare for both, but it will be hactic.

Now you do PhD in CSE from anywhere you will get job, even Your phd not completed fully. Presently, My many friends PhD from IITs in core branches are struggling in getting good job.
