Anakin is Definitely the chosen one if he stay in the light things could have been different he could have changed the Jedi order for the better or leave the order raise his family. Either way the dark side is not the answer and it not something to romanticize Anakin becoming darth vader was a huge ass mistake for him it didn’t benefit him at all just misery and suffering wasted 20s years as Palpatine slave until his son came to save him and gave him freedom.
