In Uganda we say: When you see a leopard, the leopard wants you to see it, because the leopard has already seen you miles away. ❤

Clay your story telling is legendary! If I may say as African their are two things that make us a little upset. 1. Speed it has been mentioned by others but you need to be careful of smaller animals. 2. Drone Footage is not allowed in National Parks. It is a general overlanding rule for Africa. I am surprised Christoff & Adrian didn’t mention this to you? Drones are banned for various reasons, but it is imported you guys who have a public responsibility communicate this to your viewers. Otherwise we will have more people disrespecting the rules. I run the Troopys in Africa Group and we have Americans who join us here and all respect the rule. Please consider posting something. Keep up the good content creation.

Great channel and loving the African series. Watching the Nordic series concurrently with this revisit to Africa series. I did have a chuckle at you out of the car 'analysing' Lion spoor... (really?) But the level of detail in your planning and the execution of the expeditions is first class. Such a welcome break from all the other 4x4 channels at the moment. Well done.

Local tip. For Kgalaghadi. Listen to local news to when the nossob river flows. Be on the 1st airflight to upington and grab a 4x4 there. It's almost as good as visiting the okavango delta when it flows.

Driving at those speeds, you will end up being one of those rust bucket vehicles on the side of the road if you meet a head-on collision. You were so lucky not to have an incident. Africa is about taking things slowly it's not a rally race. Please, guys, respect the nature you are in, take it easy.

@abrihendriksz9813Ай бұрын
Why do you overnight the vehicles on the ramps [I think, the orange stuff], love your series from Cape Town
@ExpeditionOverlandАй бұрын
Those are Maxtrax recovery boards - we use them to level the vehicles at night so the tents are level for the night. Thanks!
@jterry5038Ай бұрын
would a onboard welder help for fixing the radiator out in the field?
@Clay_CroftАй бұрын
New radiators are non weld radiators due to plastic and inner bags that will melt if welded. It’s a bummer to the new radiators. All manufacturers use the new ones as well. Only way to have a weldable one is to have on custom made.

Great episode as always❤ Just something pedantic: The country's name is pronounced "Bo tswana", almost similar to how you say the "Bo" in Bo Jackson or Bo Nix. It's not "Bah tswana" like how you guys from America/Canada pronounce it. But interesting enough, "Bah tswana" is what we call the people of Botswana. Like we call the people of America Americans.
