Silence. :/ She also saw the Matilda musical on Netflix. I was curious if she'd be interested in watching a Matilda play. "No". I asked her what she'd like to be when she grew up "A model because they don't have to do anything". I told her it's harder than you think. Most models know a thing or two about photography, how to make dresses, how to act...would you be interested in being in playing a part in a Matilda play? "No". There's just no getting through to this girl.

It was about a Hawaiian cowboy who went to Wyoming, competed and won the world champion rodeo in 1908. It was a fascinating to learn so much about the American west and that the Hawaiians were expert cowboys since having to deal with feral cows on the big island. I enjoy reading historical fiction and I also read the Washington post daily, time magazine and National Geographic. why don't more people read?

I used to be a cab driver. One of the best parts was how much time to read books. But then I joined the 21 century and got into smart phones. Now my reading time is in the bathroom. That's my loss. But at least I know how to spell and write in complete sentences because of reading

I imagine 2 factors. Firstly is that the internet is more convenient for information. Secondly is that people's attention spans aren't as long. Also for me, being forced to read made it a chore.

It's Hollywood Blvd. Most of them are tourists, and they don't show everyone. I went to a play down the street, guarantee you a lot of them would LOVE to drone on about the latest book they read. Those people are never shown.

I honestly read so much that it is hard to remember the order I read books in unless it is a series. I did the full Wheel of Time series (for the second time) in less than 9 months last year. I did the Hobbit through Return of the King (for the third or fourth time) recently, while thinking of doing the Silmarillion again. Currently reading a Clive Barker book about a photographer in a coma.
