Denver PBS station TV special featuring a bluegrass band with drums, rare in 1971. The band saw many road miles on the club/college concert circuit, did two TV soundtracks, appeared in a feature film, John Prine and Steve Goodman opened for them, was a favorite of Doc Watson, and made several TV Specials. Features their single Loveland Pass, a protest song about boring a hiway tunnel thru the 12,000 foot Colorado pass. Feat several orig bluegrass breakdowns and an ode in tuxedos to Jacques Offenbach.
