Accents fascinate me. Joel's sounds to me like that flat, invented accent for TV. It's not as extreme as a radio voice (eg Todd Friel), but it is more like movies where most of the main cast speaks excessively flat. Contrasted with the flatness, his O's really stand out.

He still does a good job with textual criticism, and responding to Provisionism. I get the sense he’s trying to be a voice of reason in the theonomic postmillennial camp, by reminding them that none of it is possible without a massive outpouring of the Holy Spirit to bring people to salvation, which should be their focus in prayer and deed.

Spot on. Also- remember back when Hillary Clinton was in the 2016 presidential election? One of the complaints people had about Hilary was she wasn’t relatable; her vibe was too aloof. So her PR team needed to give her advice to lighten up, maybe tell a joke; show people you’re a just a regular Joe. Saturday Nite Life did a skit about this where Hilary stepped out onto the debate stage and announced: “PEOPLE OF THE EARTH 🌎!!!” 😂😂😂

@@LampWaters Joel has spent some time dismissing the work of John Locke. I’m just guessing, but he has to reject “consent of the governed” in order to get to the Christian prince. I don’t think Joel and other Christian Nationalist guys are using the term “Christian prince” as synonymous with “public servant”. I think they actually want a monarchy, even though God warned Israel that human monarchy is a stupendously bad idea.

Sooooo whole video is about joel and how smart joel is for moving to texas and because he's so smart, he's joel, hes in Georgetown and somehow he thinks he should make a movie about it because its a good idea?
