I stay in the 1st floor, the entire building doesn't have safety window grills, there is high possibility of robbery without grill also a small child can fall down from window without grill. I asked committee to allow to install grills, but committee is like as per bye laws it is not allowed. I need grill as Right to safety. What should i do?

I have been asked by city survey office to provide list of all members of coop housing society for my name to be registered/entered in property card. Unfotunately my society President is reluctant and not responding. What should i do? May i have no right to ask them to provide list of all members?

Under the cooperative society act the society has to maintain a register of all the members and therefore your name is part of the register. The register can definitely be published to competent authority.

Sir I have purchased a flat from builder which was never sold before and applied for membership to society mana gement but the secretary of the society told that you have to pay previous maintenance charge of Rs.5 lakh and after receiving payment we shall give you membership.
