Idk why she's not credited on it, but then i remember this girl is poc makes sense. Kinda like Blackout, where people say the fame brought the edm sound but it really didn't blackout and Justin Timberlake's record brought that sounds as well as dubstep.

The biggest selling artist of the 21st century, and only #2 greatest selling female artist of all time to Madonna. Plus Rihanna has the most #1 hits out of any artist of the 21st century. I was mad Billboar didn't give her artist of the decade for 2010s, considering she outsold and charted everyone. But billboard is fake and has industry politics.
@filipmarinkovic62814 ай бұрын
Taylor Swift was more consistent, she at least a #2 hit every year since 2010 and amazing longevity at charts, and so so so many entrees, I think the most of the decade. And has much bigger albums tho, all went #1 and 1989 is the second biggest of the century (or decade, I don't remember) only behind 21 by Adele. Rihanna is for sure deserving of it as well, but Taylor also makes sense, now more than ever tho

for me, it has to be Love On The Brain. It is just so brilliant, from the simple yet effective production to the totally opposite - complex, vocal and emotional performance, but as effective, even more maybe. It is done so tastefully, and the violinsss, and the tone changes the way does the "ow ow ow oww" imitating a violin, and then saying word "violin" it in a lyric right after AND THEN the acual violin playing... i mean a masterpiece truly, and not only her best imo, but one of the best songs ever created.

The most consistent hit maker of the 21st century 2005 - debut era 2006 - sophomore era 2007 - superstar breakthrough era 2008 - superstar era continued 2009 - controversy / dark era (Russian Roulette & Hard did underperform but still moderate hits) 2010 - Rude Boy smashed saving the Rated R era and the huge Loud era begins 2011 - Loud continues smashing, WE FOUND LOVE, Talk That Talk era 2012 - Talk That Talk continued, DIAMONDS, Unapologetic era begins 2013 - Unapologetic continued, STAY was huge this year 2014 - Can’t Remember To Forget You, Monster 2015 - her first miss year for me. Didn’t care for any of the singles she dropped, although FourFiveSeconds & Bitch Better Have My Money were hits 2016 - WORK, Anti era begins, Video Vanguard 2017 - Anti era continues, WILD THOUGHTS 2018 - Hiatus, Billionaire Mogul era begins😭 She played the game SO smart . Worked consistently for 12 years, establishing herself as a pop juggernaut and icon, then took a definite hiatus to establish herself as a global mogul and became a billionaire as a result. Now she NEVER has to step foot in a studio or on a stage ever again although I think she will eventually but it’ll be entirely on HER time😮💨
