Rik Mayalls ego could never allow him to be upstaged - but Ade Edmonson knew him so well, they were always competing with other - they were great friends ever since meeting while at university in the 1970's they were a terrific comedy duo, making appearances on British TV first as the Dangerous Brothers, then in The Young Ones (a sit-com) - after that, they did a movie called Hotel Paradiso, Filthy Rich & Catflap, then a new TV series called Bottom, which they also took to the theatre, like this

They are both British and comedy legends in the UK Rik died a few years ago they were famous for tv shows like the young ones And bottom what this live show is based on If ever you come to the UK just say Rik and Aid most people will know who your on about they were much loved

I was heartbroken when Rik passed. He was in a childhood movie I loved "Drop Dead Fred." I was happy to, years later, to come across "The Young Ones" and then going on a wild goose chase to find the series on DVD.

Sorry but she looks totally bored and uninterested. I think she would be happier just chewing gum and stroking her cat, the video just got in the way. Bit of advice, if you really want to make these videos, at least try to show some interest in what your watching. I for one won’t be looking at your vids again!

Messing up was part of their live shows, they made 5 live tours over 10 years and it was full of material the BBC would not dare show! It's about 2 losers of London who never get anywhere with girls so they say a lot of crude things. Like all sitcom losers you laugh at them not with them.

Watching two people who really don't get it. You need a bit of context and maybe some previous watching before you can get it. Like for instance the fact that whilst this might be the best breaking of character, they did this all the time in their frankly ridiculous "plays".
