Truly awesome, it must’ve been wonderful to have sat in the audience that night. It’s so ‘dangerous’ to drop character. This was a masterclass in how to do it and make a very special moment. Really miss Rik, he like Ade, was very special.

These things are almost never spontaneous. All part of the show.

I can confirm this. I saw two of the shows multiple times and 95% of this is scripted. Still funny, but not spontaneous.

@@CafeMerle Thanks for that info. If anything it makes one really admire their acting and comedic skills. I’ve been a life long fan of card magic. Even when I know someone is second or ‘bottom’ dealing, (no pun intended) or doing a perfect false shuffle or cut, and I know exactly how they’re doing it but still can’t ‘see’ the move - it makes me appreciate them all the more.

I have been struggling with depression for two years now. So I have become, shall we say? More sensitive to emotions. And so I'm very careful about what content I watch. Some of you, I hope not many, may understand me when I mention triggers, and how they can be unpredictable! And now I am crying! Not because of the great loss of Rik. Which will always hurt. But because of the absolutely joyous, true friendship these two men had! Which is so apparent whenever they worked together. It's often the most wonderful things that evoke the strongest emotions in a person. And the only way I can process emotions that strong is with tears, And it's hard to beat Ade and Rik for that level of feelings! Thanks Rik, Thanks Ade!
@user-ii1iy8fz1d22 күн бұрын
Aww heck. ❤ Bless. Thanks for sharing that, I completely understand. Learning that my life battle is officially PTSD, from abusive childhood events, triggers can come from nowhere, a waft of perfume in the street, driving past somewhere you stayed a night years ago, a phrase in a sentence. Gratitude for the good ones to, such as nights watching bottom and young ones by the fire, with my abuser. Funny how every coin has two sides. Thanks to Rik ade and yourself. ❤ Homework time... Have you every heard of amanita muscaria? Or micro dosing for depression? Different paths for different people, but this path has help countless souls about the world. This is a very serious medicine, and not to be treated without great care and respect, poisoning is a consequence potentially if misused. Please, research this, it may help ❤ 🍄

Ive been in a similar place to you my friend for a couple of years or so. We’ll get through it . Always remember what you are going through makes you stronger, you may feel weak, etc . But you are stronger than most others, because of what you have been through, you just don’t know it yet. Don’t take any shit from anyone, and be who you are, which I’m sure is a great person. 👍👍 the triggers mentioned before , etc are just trap doors, keep fighting . And as I say don’t take any shit from anyone , ever , you are stronger than that. You just don’t know it yet. It’ll be ok, ❤

@@nez9751 Thanks so much for those words of support. As you know it's ups and downs. But the trend is up now I believe.
@nez975118 күн бұрын
@@GnrMilligan definitely, I’m up and down just like you. I sometimes have good days, and dark sleepless nights which are hellish to say the least. The other day there was a bee caught in the window , I tried to let it out and accidentally squashed it, and that upset me. Your emotions are like being on a roller coaster for me, you are literally up and own, maybe it’s bipolar or something similar, I haven’t opened up to a dr about it for a couple of years, but all they did at the time was offer me pills which I refused,. I’ve self medicated with booze, etc, but I’m coming out of that now and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. I’ve had abuse in my childhood, also bullied etc , grief , like a lot of us, certainly not unique to me, but maybe that’s something to do with it. I just try to think of it as an education on how to be a stronger person than most others , not that it’s a competition, but we will come out of this stronger. We just don’t realise it yet, but I’m learning . Hope you are too 🫡🤟👍

I love how every single one of bottoms live shows were just carnage. And the plot of the show is just pointless. As the show Is just them feeding of and delivering lines at the audience out of character. How these 2 worked every live show was incredible. And I don’t think another show has copied there formula. And has been able to match the quality IMO.
