We head north to Nottingham for a weekend with friends, but first have time to take a trip down memory lane.
Dora is on the hunt for a specific iconic invention, but this proves to be more of a challenge than expected.
Riki's driving skills are put to the test as he is faced with a tight entrance.

Thank you. He did well didn’t he. I’d have given up! 🫣 We had such a great weekend 😊 You should definitely ask Santa for a camera, but phone cameras are what we use the most. In fact about 95% of the time 😋 An action cam like a dji or GoPro would be great for the kids to use too! 😊

Even I have to give Riki credit where it’s due for that manoeuvre 😋 I love going away, but at the end of a busy week I just like a bit of time to unwind. Good to know it’s not just me who is happy to stay in! We’d not been back to Nottingham for years and I thought it might be a bit run down, but it was actually a really nice city to spend the day in 🩷xx

As Heather says, if the mirrors go through the rest of the van will 😄. We did the market last year, looked good in the dark. Being brought up near Derby I have spent a lot of time in Nottingham, regular Saturday night used to be get to The Old Trip Of Jerusalem, sink a few pints of the cheap beer then off to Rock City. Oh to be young again haha. Chris

Chris I love Heather’s reasoning, but I have serious ‘back end swing’ fear 🤣🤣 and not just for the motorhome! 🤗 That sounds like a great weekend ritual. We moved away from the city when I was only a couple of weeks old. But as grown ups living not too far away, we both have fond memories of the pantomimes and also going to see Lee Evans at the theatre several times 😊
