Great vlog, really enjoyed watching that, I’ve driven our 7.5m Motorhome for a couple of hours on the roads but not on my own and I haven’t braved carparks or tight spaces yet, you did brilliantly, I’m in awe! 🥰 That pub stopover looked great, going to make a note of that one, not too far away from us for a nice trip out, the food looked great and what’s not to like with the option of coffee and cake in the morning! 😋 Oh and mushy peas all the way for me….yum! 😂

Kudos! Ive just moved to a mere 6 metre van (from 5.4) and i find it more intimidating in car parks, and id like to think im an experienced driver, so managing that beast must be a (albeit quite satisfying) challenge! 👍

Thank you. A 6 metre van is still a long vehicle and I also used to think I’m an experienced driver, but those extra metres and smaller turning circle can cause headaches. 🙃 It is a great feeling to not have given up on it though 👍🏻

Good for you. I had a little incident driving our 7 metre motorhome in Spain in 2019. I’ve not driven since, we now have an 8 metre van and I have hot sweats even thinking about driving it. So you have my respect.

Thank you and if you wanted to, you could always start little by little to build up your confidence. Probably don’t do what I did here - even though my plan seemed a good one to begin with and I thought there would be lots of space 🙈 It’s such a shame when we don’t let ourselves off the hook. We are all human. Riki has clipped the wing mirrors and caught the tow bar so I feel a little less rubbish knowing he’s human too 😊
