After the pop up you can also do X,X, down and Triangle to do an overhead smash to slam them back down into the ground and then do teleport pursuit attacks using triangle and circle or you can use a homing dash to start doing chase attacks. There’s so much to the combat. It’s literally insane. You actually did that at the end of your combo when you missed your dash super. You definitely got a lot more understanding of the game than most people do.

@@javianbrown8627 literally any attack can be z countered. From beam supers to rush chains to smash pursuits. You are correct, but a z counter vanish war can happen almost anytime besides side vanishing out of the way of a super. Also, keep in mind that z counters in Sparking Zero are what a normal vanishing counter was in Tenkaichi 3. Actual z counters in BT3 got turned into “super counters” which are the hardest defensive option to pull off in sparking zero and the only real way to get out of taking back shots. Up and triangle on ps5 or up and x on Xbox just when an opponent’s attack lands.

[Starters] Basic rush attacks = Y,Y,Y,Y,Y X,Y X, X, X, Y X,X,X,X,Y (this =back shots) you can also lead with A to do a dash which will perform a small guard break. [Extenders] Vanish/ smash/ dragon attack = XA, XA, Y XA, X XA, Y, ⬅️ X/A/B/Y (which ever button has a character assigned. This allows you to swap characters mid combo and continue comboing. [Enders] Lifts and slams = ⬇️Y, ⬆️Y, or hold B Once you learn this doing combos becomes hella easy. Learn the counters and with some practice you should be able to bulldoze most competition. Also remember the importance of Sparking. You can spam X (rush attack) and get a 50 hit combo while sparking. With no interruptions you can do it 2 or 3 times before sparking runs out and still do your ultimate which will kill most opponents usually. If not just charge up a blast or another sparking and end it

Bro is it just me or I found the mother of both best dragon ball games? Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and sparking zero r both just made from Tenkaichi tag team with same combos supers ults vanishing system style dmg System counter+ dmg and everything else. Playing this game is just like playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and sparking zero. I'm sorry if I said that the most close game was DB TTT but I just saw everything as the same here, also note that I play it on mobile cuz I can't afford any type of consoles so I rly don't have the enough info but I made my searching and I was wrong. I might be wrong man but I am pretty sure those are not real combos. Most of those won't get further than your 5th hit cause they are blockable. Some characters like ssj4 gogeta or kid buu can string some of them without giving a chance to block, but most of the characters won't pull this off against real players.

The thing is backshotting your opponent is priority. It literally makes them unable to do anything but super counter or revenge counter. I play low tier characters like zarbon or garlic Jr. Those combos are real its just its full potential varies upon it being executed from behind. From the front you can only do a auto. Mid combo can be block even if u low sweep.

There seems to be some sort of mechanic limiting lengthy combos, the 3 sets of punches did 8723 damage, while the rush chain combo into the sets of punches did 8569 damage! Less than the former, which shows that strong but small combos(example: 3 ◼️>⬇️🔺>⬇️grab[◼️+r1]>🔺>🔺>⭕️{credits to gameplay house}) are more important to know, does anyone know more combos like that.

the combos at the beginning of the video aren't actually true combos. If you want to test if they're true set the dummy to block, then start the combo with a guard break (up or down + hold square), you'll see that it's possible to guard after the x5 square dash. doing a high kick string into x5 square then dash into up or down + square sets up a true combo for anyone that has it.

Super counters can be countered using Z counters. Revenge counters can be nulified using Super perception. Perception can't be countered. In case your opponent uses a rush high speed movement you can just use your own rush high speed movement (guard button) to teleport behind them. There are multiple ways to defend against vanishing attacks and smash attacks (hold square) which include side step ins, Z counters, super counters, revenge counters and perception. The only way to defend against getting attacked from behind is by utilizing super counters. If by deflecting you mean "super counters" then use a Z counter to counter back (press guard button). If by vanishing you mean Z counters or rush high speed movements then in this case you have 2 options: Either to respond with your own Z counter (pres guard button the moment they attack you) or counter using super counters (more effective, but much more harder to land so I don't recommend it).
