No idea what happened to the first 8 or so moves which are missing from the video. I much prefer to be able to see the player clocks.

There were some tech issues preventing the stream from starting on time, i think the clock situation can be attributed to that. But if you watch it live and type -> !board in chat it will give you a link to the live board with the clocks.

There are many factors why it may seem men are better at chess. 1, a lot more men play chess than women. 2, similar to esports men generally take games more seriously than women. 3, women often prioritize other things than games, whether board games or video games.
