Please make videos like this longer. It's much more interesting than car reviews.

Ok but like Rimac and Koenigsegg should Collab to create one of a kind car

why was this video private :D and i dont think you can make a "timeless car" with so many technologies that get outdated every few years
@Neojhun6 жыл бұрын
Screw "timeless car". Stupid Arrogance when a designer uses that as an Excuse. No one can predict the future.
@mitchellsteindler6 жыл бұрын
@@Neojhun nah. It's pretty obvious when a car will be timeless insomuch as itll always be considered good design, not as in you cannot tell when it was designed.
@g.zoltan6 жыл бұрын
That's the exact same reason why the Bugatti Chiron doesn't use touchscreens or a modern infotainment, as they wanted it to be a "timeless" car. IT's somewhat reasonable, considering that the information technology, screens, and touchscreens in general are guaranteed to improve in the future. I still prefer Koenigsegg's approach to make it cooler and more techier now, even if it means iT'll look quite dated in the future.
@Endisupertramp6 жыл бұрын
Timeless refers to the aesthetic design. You can roughly gauge what a timeless car would be, because it usually follows organic paths. Basically the same reason why you consider a girl or a guy pretty is why you consider a car pretty (oversimplified). Our brains have proportioning algorithms built into them that say what is pleasing and what is not, cars that are organic in nature and follow a basic, non-busy, geometry are usually considered timeless. The Mazda RX-7 is a good example, it's a simple curved geometry without too many details on it, it's profile in a way resembles how nature builds things.

I see major privacy concerns here. I'd need to see a lot more about how they handle privacy before I submitted myself to that kind of data sharing.
@Neojhun6 жыл бұрын
Not just an agreement but also some sought of outside party Auditing. Privacy is soo fragile now. Especialy something as sensitive as where you go and the times you spend at locations.

@GranDaddo6 жыл бұрын
I do not believe anyone is forcing you, but I do believe many will make least possible effort to tell you what data logging actually does. Things like anti-theft system is already pulling a lot of your information. It will be matter of time when you will be driving your normal car and manufacturer will be selling your data to advertisers so that they see you are driving into NY to give you "best deals". Maybe you will even get discount if you agree.
@karlodomic28906 жыл бұрын
They have 158 cars, not much data that they can exploit to make money or do anything with it You share 10time more data with your phone and you do nothing about it
@GranDaddo6 жыл бұрын
@@karlodomic2890 I do not believe issue is with Rimac. What prevents (example) Chevy in their onboard recording system... It can record position, speeds, revs, G's... now you just need to send it to server. Or even remotely on-demand.

Always cool to see electric vehicle startups.... But really...? We got enough play things for the super wealthy. Wish there were startups building affordable electric cars.
@louicoleman29106 жыл бұрын
rreeves0710 there actually are if you look for them. One name to hand is Uniti, which is developing small EVs for the European market, though there are others with different products. In a few years the battery cost will have decreased enough to allow for even cheaper EVs comparable even in sticker price to their gas car equivalents.
@imabeapirate6 жыл бұрын
When the automobile first came out, who do you think was driving them? It takes time and money to mature a technology to a low cost that can be sold to more people.
@rreeves07106 жыл бұрын
The first automobiles were electric, and tesla cars have been around for a while. I'm only whining cause they are making super-cars, not inventing to give the tesla model 3 competition.

Telemetry data is good and all, but this is getting out of hand. This much technology for a car is completely unnecessary. It's at the point where useless tech is added for the sake of being "techy". I'm looking at you, night vision cameras...
