Whenever the Tesla fans start gushing about their Plaids I tell them the Rimac Nivera is superior in every way. The ones that actually do a little research always have the exact same response: "Yeah, but it costs two-million dollars." My reply: "What does cost have to do with it? It is a superior car in every way."

I'm a fan of Tesla and also of Rimac. The Nevera is a two seat, 2MW hypercar, of course it'll be quicker than a big sedan. Though it has less range, number of seats and luggage capacity so it isn't superior in every way lol, but then it doesn't need to. They obviously aren't comparable.

No one posts KZbin videos about Plaids hyping how many passengers or luggage it can carry. They are all about 0 - 60, 1/4 mile, top speed.... The Tesla is special because it is so cheap for its performance and its broad capacity to not only be superb in performance, but primarily function well as a superb daily driver. That's what it was designed for. The Nevera is designed only for performance, and arguably slightly for comfort. Apples and oranges.
