Actually when the Soviet Union began Stalin had to build up an industrial base using a few capitalist methods but eventually moved onto full communism after it was modernized

NEP, yes, but that was more Lenin's idea. Stalin only came to power later and scrapped the Marxist economic policy for his own, quite foolish, prideful and somewhat ignorant ideas. Thank goodness for the fact he wasn't in absolute power, honestly. No matter how effective his industrial policies were, they were not ethical and many of his decisions were way too foolish. What I'm trying to say is: Stalin was shit, communism wasn't.

And it never "moved on towards becoming full communism", Stalin actually stalled progress and things eventually went to complete shit after the Union suffered more right-wing turns in policies. Stalin stalled, Khrushchev crushed. Kinda works, doesn't it?
