G'day mates, this video does have an uncensored version but thankfully it's just one scene featuring a location from Better Cities that KZbin definitely wouldn't want me showing. I've got no use for the site if it's not going to actually back-up my videos properly, and the UI is way worse than Odysee. Plus, people were mostly using Odysee anyway with Rumble having barely any traffic in comparison. If I find another good back-up site for my videos (that isn't just a patreon alternative), I'll look into using that too. The intro will keep changing depending on the current state of things, but it's mainly there so that I don't get insta-demonetised for saying asshole or dickhead (no, I'm not joking, that's the real rules) or showing some video game violence in the first 15 seconds.

Rimmy getting jumped by zombies for the first time while drunk and fighting a ghost was amazing. Also, I really like that the Skingrad newspaper report blames the dead flock on a bear, and then it was an actual infected bear. I doubt that was intentional, but it was really nice.

i had quite a spell of this game last year, i agree it feels more fantasy-esque mainly for the color palette, but alot of the stuff such as the menus and ui are all just very fitting for a fantasy setting

This game rocked my childhood and my adolescence, as much as KOTOR 1 and 2, and as much as the first Mass Effect And it's still excellent even years later, I play it from time to time, like KOTOR which I play at least 3 times a year Now I suffer from severe psychosis so I enjoy the little pleasures of life. I take them where they are, it brings me back to a time when things were still going well.

Out of the Elder Scrolls games I've played (ESIII to ES V), ESIV is still my favourite. It has the best blend of fun gameplay and great writing, in my opinion. It wasn't my first Elder Scrolls, but I really wish it was. I first played it in maybe 2019 and loved it.

I 100% agree with the sentiment that Oblivion feels more like a fantasy game than Skyrim. The colours are vibrant and fun, the bloom is done in a way that makes everything feel dream-like, and most importantly- _Oblivion fucking plays better._ Fantastic game.

I actually like Oblivion's visuals more than Skyrim's. Skyrim has this weird filter over everything that just looks wrong to me. Oblivion looks a lot "cleaner" Also those rolling green hills in Cyrodil look really nice.

I've got to say I started my first real Oblivion playthrough on a whim in like December, and now as of February I'm balancing like a 100+ modlist and and loving every second of living every second in feat of CTDs. So glad I gave this game a shot after all these years. A lot of love was clearly put into it and the modding scene is so chill and awesome. 11:30 I think I have to agree with you on it being the colouring that makes it feel more fantasy... and possibly a bit of the music. Skyrim had the issue of trying to be "real", the colours were pretty muted in comparison, less of an oil painting and more like a photo you hastily took. That's something I remember with Fable too, just a lot of small details that made it feel more like a fairy-tale than some "alternate medieval reality with other sentient species and maybe magic". I honestly wish more games were like Oblivion and Fable, the "realistic fantasy" genre doesn't feel that interesting because we can experience most of it in the real world and the addition of the generic RPG races and enemies doesn't really make it stand out enough.

You really need to learn about the Yield function toward the NPCs... While blocking I believe you have to activate the NPC and they will back down most of the time if you only hit them a few times
