Ok got my electron e coat master M. After watching the assembly video on KZbin I had absolutely no problem with assembly and set up. When I pulled the trigger for the first time I jumped back it felt like something grabbed me then I realized the shirt I was wearing was squeezing in on me from the power in the air never felt that before. I coated my first three parts the came out amazing the gun adjust on the fly. Did use Dans suggested settings and it worked great. The last part I coated was small I needed a powder I only had about a 1/4 left I threw it on the box feeder and it sprayed absolutely great with such a small amount I'm liking my ecoat master M . Thanks Dan for saving me from my China gun frustration.

Just got an Optiflex Pro at work, loving the power mode! Great review for the new system, reminded me of a Gema on the first video you did with it.

Nice! Gotta love a company that will invest in equipment. Are you using the 110kv mode? I have used it a few times, never saw the numbers go up over the 90s.

@@RightNowPowderCoating I have seen it go 100+, we use a conveyor setup and shoot for 1500 parts a day. So our part hooks are cleaned on down time and the grounding isn't always the greatest. The power boost seems to be helping with faraday and the repaint percentage is coming down as I get the settings adjusted right.

. I have a problem when spraying electrostatic powder. Small holes appear. The more you spray, the more they appear

Is it possible to change the Electron Corona gun from Positively charge to Negative charge for applying pvc coating on Metal surfaces?

Don't go with the auto gun setup. From what I seen from your channel you do a lot of custom work and smaller batch jobs. An auto gun will not help you at all. Where I work we do batch jobs in the thousands and the auto gun never worked really it covered a lot of surface quickly but any kind of tricky edges and corners often came out thin. I might actually give these electron guns a try tho I honestly hadn't heard about them until I seen your video

I'm sorry it's a nice piece of equipment but your video is extremely misleading. You hold up a $100 gun and say stop using this .then I get the quote for your new gun and it's $3500!!! Im pretty sure you got several thousand peoples hopes up,to then throw out that ridiculous price tag, it's not a game changer except for the top of the crop. Sorry to rant but that video was extremely misleading.

I can see how that comes off, thanks for the feedback, Ill keep that in mind. My point was for half the cost of a Gema its a great deal. I understand 3500 is a lot for new coaters but the gun does the work and thats where I would invest my money every time.
