You are the first reactor that caught the Luminus connection, it will be a focal point of Season 3 so you will have to wait for answers, Laplus is very strong but you also got to remember that it was also when Roy and all vampires were at their weakest with it being a new moon so the gap under normal circumstances isnt as big Milim was given control of claymans lands so she had alot more to govern so Frey joining her would help on that side and with carrion joining they will be making it her new Capital city once its rebuilt, the anime shows Diablo with Youm at the end but in the LN by the time Rimuru came back from Walpulgis Diablo was already back in tempest after setting things in motion in Falmuth, theres also a side story/spinoff novel of clayman getting sent back in time to before Rimuru showed up with all his memories and shows just how much traumatized he is of milim and rimuru where he avoids crossing them to keep himself alive

I love that Rimuru copied Guy's Space Expansion Barrier spell. --------------------------------------- By using Thought Acceleration on Clayman, RImuru made him feel as if every second was the equivalent of 277 hours. In the Light Novels, Clayman's hair was falling out from the torture. I always find it hilarious that people hate Clayman so much that every reactor I've seen is perfectly fine with Rimuru torturing him to death before consuming him (soul and all). ---------------------------------------- Luminus Valentine is my favorite vampire in all of fiction. I mean, what straight guy wouldn't like a lesbian goth vampire goddess? I mean that's not the only reason I like her but I'm not ashamed to admit to that. -------------------------------------- Milim throwing a tantrum in front of the council is exactly why Frey feels the need to be her subordinate. @@Angel_Rod Its canonicity is debatable and it can be a bit lackluster in its main story but the cameo from a character that doesn't show up until Volume 11 of the Light Novels (either Season 4 or 5 depending on pacing) is worth it, especially since it adds context to some future events. The main story is actually focused on the Ogres/Kijin/Oni (particularly Benimaru and another) with Rimuru as a supporting character.

I am recommending Slime Diaries again for your reaction. It is based off of the humorous slice-of-life spin-off manga. It fills in a lot of skipped information on what the citizens of Tempest went through in the process of building their nation. It also gives screen time to a lot of the background characters. It takes place about a month after the Orc Disaster invasion up through the arrival and residency of Millim in Tempest.

With karion and frey gone, all the demon lords left are either awakened demon lords or awakened demon lord in level. (some can't have the demon lord seed/evolution because they're holy beings which are Giants and fairies) The name ten great demon lords didn't even came from them. It came from the humans who notice that most of the time, the demon lords number around 10 so they named them ten great demon lords. The demon lords just went along as they don't want to have to come up with a new name. If you don't like octogram you could always call them eight star demon lord as octogram is only a short cut for the long one. As a character once said in the novel. "Eight star demon lord, are they comparing each of their strengths to a star?" The fun thing about the persuasion of Milim is, frey is psychologically using the idea of friendship to force milim to accept. Meanwhile Karion is just brute forcing the pressure and guilt tripping milim. Guy bit Rimuru's ear in the manga and the table cutting actually was more dramatic as it wasn't a silent cut but more a forceful cut in half. Imagine Shion's blade cutting the table and the two pieces collapsing to the side. Rimuru's title could also be called as "Rising Star" aka newbie. Roy should be stronger than karion but not stronger than Rimuru. You could measure Laplace strength with this info.

But because of his aggressive nature he often had issues and conflicts with her other subordinates so she split his soul and made him two different person. One who acted as the Demon lord stand in. And the other who acted as the holy pope. But one thing Laplace did wrong was killing Roy, as killing Roy had restored Louise full power, he can easily kill Laplace.

If you really wanna delve into Isekai, a MUST watch in my opinion is Tsukimichi. Just like Mushoku Tensei, Tsukimichi is considered one of the forfathers of Isekai. I LOVE it. Its also very much in the vein of Tensura with nation building. The second season has already been confirmed (I dont think there is a date yet though) and I am almost as hyped as I am for Tensura Season 3.

The Slime community (mostly anime watchers and manga readers) get confused when gauging the power of Human warriors in this world. Roy Valentine is the same tier, albeit a bit stronger, than Carrion. They both are demon lords and Laplace is stronger than them to the point of winning 8 times out of 10 with some draws in the best case scenario. But he, Laplace, gets Stomped hard against Hinata. And she isn’t even a Hero yet, albeit she has the Hero Egg (similar thing to Demon Lord seed). So while being in the same tier as non awakened Demon Lord, she is much, much stronger than your average Demon Lord seed. She’s basically near human peak in terms of power. And Diablo saying that Shion can’t defeat Hinata, even with her OP ass Master Cheif, is completely true.
