Kinda wish Rimuru’s voice was more androgynous (not to mention less screechy and annoying too). Maybe then it wouldn’t be such a mediocre anime. Just kidding. But still. Maybe a male with a feminine voice since Rimuru was male in his other life before being reincarnated which should give him more male dominant traits? Idk but I’ve kinda had enough with female actors portraying androgynous characters when it’s obvious they aren’t even trying to deliberately sound androgynous This is coming from a person who is more serious about voice acting than the average person so y’all can take it lightly lol, just take it easy But then again, I guess what attracted some people to the anime was that Rimuru is a trap so... man idk at this point I guess I’m just reevaluating my life decisions eh

I think you're just overthinking it a lot. Something about this anime is just so enjoyable and Idek what it is, it's just got really good flow and vibes to it. I actually like rimurus voice, but maybe thats just bc it's Rimuru's voice as I know it already and I like his character. The voice matches well imo. But I can understand the criticism if voice acting is actually something you want to or think about working in or are really into etc. its the same with producers, artists, musicians, chefs etc.certain things just trigger them a small bit.
