Thank you so much Stuart for the shoot out, I got some very neat handles for the Milano that are on their way, so wait for it and check it out! Just received some amazing sharpening whetstone from Germany, can't wait to put them on the website too : 2 sided natural stone : 1200 & 6000 grit!

Nice video! I often use the Rinaldi Milano for woodworking, carving and splitting small pieces for the wood stove. I also find it great for outdoor activities. It's not excessively heavy to carry around, and it performs very well! Also, the goat 🐐 who wanted to share his opinion was adorable :D!!

It’s an awesome axe, what a great profile for carving and chopping. I probably grab it as much as any other axe right now when I’m working in the shop.

I was waiting for this one for a long time! I like the sheath you made for it too and the little notch you made in the back of the beard to be able to pass you finger there! Great content as always!

Nice spatula! They are rough for sure! But if you're going for affordability, the finishing is the best place to cut costs in my opinion.

I really do prefer it this way, for sure. Just want to let people know. The steel is awesome, and I can clean up everything on my own time. Great value for the axe, I really love the profile it’s fantastic for carving

Just received my first US order last week! That’s cool! About what your saying at 4:50 about this axe being the roughest axe you ever bought, I hope when the shop is gonna be settled a little more to be able to offer a kind of premium collection for people that want a more clean and finished product and are willing to pay more for that!

OK so share the secret bud. How do you make that oil or did you buy it? Either way your project turned out beautifully. Thank you for the content I've been watching you since you started and have always enjoyed your kind feeling demeanor.

Oh man I’m so sorry I keep meaning to put up a video about how to make it! It’s super easy, just need the oak bark to boil down, and that’s what keeps me from doing a full video. I don’t have the oak bark. But boil the oak bark until it reduces to a really dark syrupy color. Then strain it. Add that to as much Linseed oil as you like. Then add in enough pine tar so it thickens a bit but doesn’t gum up. Borax just for fun and rot resistance. I have fun with it, I don’t use specific measurements. I really like using it, food safe and works really well for color and protection!
Review of a "normal" Rinaldi axe. Tree felling and opinions!
