You dont take the battery in or out..you charge it with the supplied usb cord

I do have a question. Once I get it firmly mounted at our front door how would I ever take it off? The bracket wouldn't be accessible to bend outwards from the middle.

If i remember right you undo the two security screws with the special tool to remove and re locate!

Depends how you mounted it. Can't help without seeing it. Mine is just on the magnet so I just pull it off the mailbox and charge it
